Not recommended for a family. Maybe for a hen/stag do to just sleep for the night! Bathroom disgusting sadly. Staff
Pros:

Staff wonderful. Lovely gentleman on reception.

Cons:

It felt dirty. The shower curtain was disgusting - an easy fix to go and but a cheap new one! One mattress was completely sunken. The price we paid (inflated as Easter hols) was too much for what we got.

Very very bad experience
Pros:

I can’t say I like the place firstly when I got the I was told there was no space for me
And told I had a wrong address

Cons:

The place didn’t look ok for me as the staff came to the door with sleepers as if he just got up from his own bed
I didn’t like the attitude and presentation

Pros:

Aweful

Cons:

The door was locked and no one answered despite repeatedly ringing the bell. We were left standing outside on the road in temperatures of –2°C, with no way to enter the property. Eventually, we had no choice but to leave and book another hotel.

What made the situation worse was that I tried multiple times to contact Booking.com and also sent messages through their portal, but I have received no response to date. This is extremely disappointing.

Staff at a nearby shop told me that a similar incident had happened recently, when a student who had booked this property had to call the police to gain access.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking this property, as the situation seems unreliable and concerning. Unfortunately, this experience has also affected my trust in Booking.com.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

One of the worst experiences in a hotel. Reception staff were hardly ever there (with the doors closed, we checked out without them knowing because the reception was CLOSED at 9.30 a.m. on a SUNDAY MORNING). Then there was the room, which was a disaster, with forty-year-old wooden windows with thin glass, so you could hear EVERYTHING from the street. Then, the bathroom was like a container. The curtain had mould at the bottom and there was a suspicious yellow stain on the shower floor. Very old hotel in NEED OF RENOVATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. New shower cubicles, new windows. The only positive thing was the central and convenient location.
