I had a wonderful stay at The Brenton Hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my requests were met, which made the experience feel truly personalized. I loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary non-alcoholic drinks in the room, sparkling water and ice cream in the pantry, and fresh cookies offered every night. The room was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated, and the parking staff were always helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is very aesthetic, modern, and calm—an ideal retreat in Newport. From check-in to check-out, everything felt seamless and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport.

Breakfast was not included after booking with Expedia. This was disappointing as we spent a lot of money to stay for Labor Day weekend.

The location was perfect. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the harbor. It was very conveniently located and walkable. We also took a boat ride on the Brenton One which was the highlight of our trip. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at The Brenton

This is THE BEST place to stay in Newport. Its very Chic, clean and the staff is very accommodating.

Beautiful rooftop views. Easily accessible to water activities i.e ferry rides,harbor tours etc…
Tons of dining options that are walkable.
Only minor inconvenience was dogs barking. I realize it’s a pet friendly stay however, I felt like I was in a dog kennel . Room was switched without an issue. Staff was attentive and accommodating. All in all a great stay!

The Brenton hotel is a really good hotel and has the potential to be great. Simple things like free coffee or tea in the morning, would add that extra touch of caring and hospitality for the traveler. The staff is friendly, but often preoccupied with their own internal cliques or the party-like atmosphere of some guests. The rooms are well appointed, although the TV did not function well. This is an important issue since the TV controls your access to amenities like room service and webcasting. The food is good with several options. There is no formal restaurant yet the sitting area serves as a lounge and eating space. The parking attendants were excellent. The free ice cream and bottled water were a nice touch. The Location is ideal for catching water ferries and walking around town. Very good to great.

Excellent location, beautiful upscale hotel. Its very quiet inside and relaxing considering its on the main road. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is perfect to walk around to see all the sights.

Everyone at the hotel was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was welcoming, and the Hotels living room cozy enough to just hang out after a long day of walking Newport. And the view of Newport from the roofop was priceless. Will stay again and highly recommend them.

Beautiful hotel located in walking distance to most shops/restaurants. Staff was very kind and friendly. Enjoyed the pantry perk of fresh water and icecream whenever you wanted. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck. Bar was not opened but enjoyed sitting up there overlooking the water.
Beds were unusually low to the ground but overall room was great and bathroom design was beautiful. Enjoyed the nespresso maker in the room.
We were not allowed to check in till exactly check in time which was a little inconvenient but i understand they were busy the night before. Also shouldn't make you pay for parking since already spending enough to stay at the hotel.
