The hotel itself was nice from the lobby to the resturant to the room. It was clean. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious.
I originally booked a two bed queen with a view. When my husband and I arrived, the young man at the front desk explained to us that our room was not ready. He stated that it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for it to be done. He was suppose to call my husband once the room was ready. He NEVER called. We arrived back at the hotel and spoke to a woman at the front desk. I explained my frustrations and she upgraded our room to a king bed with a corner view and we were given free parking for our stay. Needless to say, we were happy that we were accommodated for having to wait over an hour for our room to be ready.
Close to music venue and great view of Philly Skyline.
We lost a personal item - left it in our room at check out. Realised later that day, rang up to enquire about it and got nowhere. Front staff were not helpful and no one picked up at Housekeeping. After trying many times, I contacted Hilton customer service - no item was found in our room so the housekeeping staff must have not handed it in which is very disappointing indeed.
The hotel was descent and so was most of the staff. But the only problem I had with the room was the rooms thermostat control and temperature. my room (702) was broken because either it got too hot in there or it was too cold and stuffy. Also the blackout curtains weee cheap and didn’t block out the sun. I was there for a family reunion and the conference room we had had our own buffet. However they didn’t give us the same items on our buffet that they had on the main buffet menu. Namely they didn’t have the potatoes for our buffet. I thought that was unfair of them. Lastly I had issue with Amoya at the front desk. She was unprofessional and rude and ignorant. I’m a Hilton honors member and she charged me for a water even though the other man working at the desk did not. I will never stay here again because of Amoya
it’s was very clean
i didn’t like how there wasn’t really any stores near it
Location
Restaurant was understaffed
Close to Rutgers-Camden college campus. Minutes away from the Ben Franklin bridge. Paid $6 (cash only) toll to cross over. Felt safe. Need key card to park in the parking lot and to get on the elevators. The common area and room the were clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Nice view of the Ben Franklin bridge, the river and Philly from our room #713. There’s a grassy area with a paved walking trial across the street. Could hear the transit train going across the bridge from time to time yet not loud or annoying. While staying here we noticed a few motor bikers like to ride down this street. Barricades are being put out every night to deter them. The room has a small refrigerator and microwave. It also has a Keurig. The bathroom is a little smaller than what I’m used to. There’s a tub with a shower. We didn’t eat ate the restaurant. It looked nice. A perfect, quiet location if you don’t want to stay in Philly.
I loved the food, view and friendly staff!
Nothing
Hotel staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. Rooms were very clean and new. Beautiful view of the bridge and waterfront. Walking distance to aquarium and amphitheater.
Nothing!
Close location to my destination. Pretty views.
Expensive
It was quiet, and the staff was pleasant and inviting.
Nothing
Front desk person was nice.
I booked on Booking.com late after a flight cancellation and showed up at 3am VERY ready to sleep only to find out my booking.com reservation was actually not held despite my credit card being charged. The person at the desk was nice but obviously I was in terrible luck trying to find another room in the middle of the night because they didn't have a system working.
