Sole Suites

First the positives : The 1 bedroom room had plenty of room, a view of the street, a balcony (with no chairs so useless), air-cons worked well, conveniently located near the main "5th" Ave restaurants, shops and bars.
Now the negative : the bar half a block away BLASTED MUSIC every night until 3AM so any attempt at sleep was futile. In fairness, at check-in, I was offered either a room towards the back of the place which was smaller with no balcony but a bit quieter OR a larger room with a balcony (no chairs) but noisier. I chose the larger room thinking ear plugs would fix the loud music....NO SO!

Always stay here

I really love the space and the size of the room. And the staff was amazing.

It was nice. Close to everything. Shopping, dinner. Safe for families.

There was old food in the refrigerator, when we got there at the glass, sliding doors were open, therefore, mosquitoes were in the apartment

Pool was not ready for most of the week and pool area need renovations

The apartment is very spacious, and has two bathrooms which is great. But as we were on the main floor, there was no outside sitting area or place to dry swim suits and towels. It was otherwise very comfortable.

Accommodations were ok. The hotel is in a noisy neighborhood. Lots of music at night. Would have also appreciated a heads up on the construction next door. I found it more annoying , especially when on the top floor at the pool. Also the pool water was cloudy most of the time. Needs more attention. A few more chairs on the roof would be nice also.

Our stay way great. You have to understand, the hotel is located in the busy area, so if you want a quiet place, it is not the case. Although, the music didn’t bother me or my family much. We had a nice sleep. However, you are in the center of everything, tour buses pick up area, beach is 3 min away, lots of restaurants, walmart is 10 min walk and you get two rooms with a kitchen. There was hot water with good pressure all the time and free wifi, but somewhat spotty, The staff was generally ok, but could be more polite and nicer in my opinion. Overall, I think this is a great option for the money and I give it 5 stars despite those minor details.

Location is perfect. Close to all attractions of Playa del Carmen. Nice beach was 10 minutes walk. 5 Av just next Av.
For me only bad thing was party from 9PM to 3 AM with tremendously loud music from clubs on 5 AV.
I had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Nice roof but something missing there

Safe to walk around and shop at so many stores ! Dinning fresh fish caught earlier that day or a taco, just steps form Sole Suites! I like to cook my own breakfast so the kitchen was fun to use! With a pharmacy,7/11 and message across from your hotel Nightlife 5 yes five dance clubs with in staggering distance! Couples and singles straits and guy! something for all! Oh fishing, From the front door walk to the left then first turn Right 30 or 40 m to the water take a camera!

We enjoyed the room! Everything was very clean.
Female desk staff not the friendliest. Not sure why the coffee supply was low and no washcloths.

We liked that the black curtain in the bedroom provided excellent coverage, making the room great for sleeping. Unfortunately, due to very loud nightclubs in the area, the rooms on the front sleep are impossible to sleep in. Fortunately the back rooms are very quiet, so a move to one of them solved that problem. But then there was no balcony to sit on. The pool and area was very small but well maintained. Umbrellas would have been a very welcome addition, as it gets very hot on the roof.

Bare bones hotel with no color or character. The pool is about the size of a bathtub and there are no pretty areas to sit and relax. The lighting in the apartment was harsh and there is only overhead lighting. But the worst part of all is the bar nearby that plays extremely loud and extremely awful music from 8pm to 3am every night. We checked out early and found a much more pleasant hotel.

Location is convenient. However hotel is close to biggest clubs in Playa del Carmen very loud music playing from 11pm to 4am and currently there is construction right next door.

Staff was good. Cleanliness was good.

The staff were drew they charged me for everything. They also charged me because one towel was dirty I asked the leader if she couldn't clean it she was about to say yes and then the guy from the receptionist told her no with his hands. I also booked a room with three beds and they gave me a room with two beds.

Not recomended unsecure doors lock broken

Everything about this property from staff, cleanliness, space and location is fabulous, but due to a night club at the end of the street playing LOUD music until 3am EVERY night…yes EvErY night, I wouldn’t stay anywhere on this street again.

I didnt like that in room 104 the shower of the main roomndidnt work corectly.
