Needs some TLC and the location is not for anxious travellers
Pros:

Location is close to lots of restaurants and other pubs and certainly very close to the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large kids play area for those wanting to take their kids there.

Cons:

Junkies love that train station - therefore the pub has 23hours/day security. It's also very noisy due to the train traffic. Rooms are basic and not all that clean or comfortable. Flat pillows, broken furniture, smelled of dirty socks. At least the air con worked! The shared bathroom is in desperate need of repairs and a good scrub.

The location, parking was easy there

Cons:

It was very filthy (sheets, the wardrobe, the floor, the bathroom,…), there was no soap in the woman’s bathroom and it didn’t got filled up, the toilet paper was laying on the bin because there was nothing to put it on, one of the showers was wrong labeled (hot and cold) and the toilet seat was almost falling off. You could hear everything through the doors (even conversations, the bar from downstairs till 3am), every hotel guest only gets 500mb internet and there was a cockroach in our bed, you couldn’t open our window so we got a pice of wood to keep it open, and the fridge was to cold and everything froze in there, and our curtains fell down at night.

I arrived to book in , my name was not on the list long story short me and my partner were destitute in a town we do not know and slept in a friends car , hotel staff were no help at all ., all in all absolutely unacceptable and unsatisfactory
