There was a continental breakfast comprising cereal, croissants and toast. The Wetherspoons across the road was handy if you wanted something more.
It was hard to sleep with drunk women singing outside the hotel, the roaring of cars up and down the street, and the awful hourly chimes of the clock tower.
Also, there was no internet - not good! (I was told it was broken??)

The staff were very helpful & gave me a room next to the courtyard, where I had parked up my motorcycle.
Staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was "continental' but substantial.
You would not want to stay here if you were sensitive to sound. It is in the market square and apart from the noise of people partying the central town clock is just metres away and rings out the hour every hour throughout the night.
There were also a couple of safety issues... bathroom floor when wet was very slippery and no bath mats provided...Also there was a TV on an extending arm that reached out into the room and had to be avoided at head level eg if going to bathroom at night...

A warm welcome, quick check in. Large and comfortable room. Superb service throughout. Very generous breakfasts perfectly cooked. I’m very impressed with the improvements that the new owners have made. Good size bathroom that was spotlessly cleaned.
Overall excellent, will happily stay again when I am in the area.

Very central loction near to the town centre. Friendly staff, large room with comfy bed. Car park around the side of the hotel but onlly for five or six cars
No aircon or fans provided when the temperature was 30°C didn't sleep well at all for two nights
It was perfect for us for location, lovely and clean
Be careful about having a room at the front, can be noisy, and the circle clock chimes every hour, even though it is a lovely clock! Breakfast is very basic but ok, there’s a weatherspoons across the road if you want a large breakfast.

Continental breakfast was accceptable, but I would have preferred a more substantial opion.
Late evening noise outside was noticeable due to the warm weather and a need to have windows open.
Easy check in, comfy clean room with great shower.
Tv channel range was limited, and due to l9cation being in the town centre it was noisy on the weekend I was there
