The best Kyoto base
Pros:

Ace Hotels are always a favourite - brilliant design with great food and comfy rooms.
Loved everything about the facilities, location and rooms!
Walking distance from a lot of places we wanted to hit, as well as surrounded by great food.

My favorite hotel stay so far in 2026!
Pros:

This hotel a little gem in the heart of Kyoto but somehow not too crowded (maybe price point is a bit high?) - amazing restaurant and the Bar - the cocktails are really good! They welcome dogs (and cats i beleive) and crate and pet bed with all amenities was in place for our dog. Inform the hotel when you make the booking - not all the room are available when you bring your pet.
The vinyl player in every room and the choice of record you can choose from is insane - such a special moment.
I wish we had stayed a bit longer - definitely coming back when we are in Kyoto again.
Staff is also really helpful and friendly. Hight recommended!

Pros:

柚木沙弥郎さんのアートがここかしこに見られ、部屋のファブリックにはミナペルホネンが使われ、品良くセンス良くポップな雰囲気が素敵だった。

Cons:

部屋に寝巻きが無かったので驚いた。櫛、ブラシも。フロントに連絡したらすぐに持ってきてもらえたけれど、チェックインの際にアメニティなどについて丁寧な説明が無かったことが残念。

Style and comfort in Kyoto.
Pros:

Stylish hotel in a perfect location if arriving by train or taxi. Friendly, helpful staff. Fab cafe on the ground level and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful eateries and shops. Easy to walk to most areas of Kyoto. A must do is eat at Tominojo (shabushabu/sukiyaki) - so fun!

Cool vibe in good location
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were always available to help with any questions. The room was lovely, modern and clean. Location was perfect close to everything. There were multiple dining options on site however with so many cheaper and good options outside the hotel I would definitely go out to eat. P
It had a great vibe to the hotel though and was really cool stay.
