Better out than in
Pros:

Setting was nice and staff pleasant. Large towels

Cons:

Small bed , uneven floors , very steep steps up to room. Absolutely would not suit anyone with any disabilities.
And sorry foid was definitely below average for a so called award winning restaurant

Great Staff, Great Food, Fun Weekend with Friends
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent value for money. We were meeting up with friends and the location was great and the facilities to eat, drink and chat were good.

Cons:

Some TLC needed in the restaurant - we sat at a large oval table which was very nice but the upholstery was in desperate need of renovation. Some of our rooms also need some updating.

Best breakfast 😋
Pros:

The breakfast was absolutely amazing 👏 definitely 10 out of 10. Also the manager Philippe was so lovely and extremely helpful. The room was nice, facilities good but we would go back just for the breakfast 😋

Cons:

We didn't realise we had to book for lunch as it's really busy but Philippe squeezed us in. Staff were very busy and a little flustered but Philippe handled the restaurant which saved it

Amazing food, great location, warm service.
Pros:

The best thing about this place is the food - very good, fresh ingredients, varied menu, delicious steak. The location is also outstanding, with a lovely terrace right next to the river. The service was warm and efficient, and we felt very well cared for, as did our two dogs. We also loved the towels in our room, thick and big. There were high-quality toiletries in large, sustainable containers. Coffee and tea in the room had a good selection - even oat milk!

Cons:

The room is small, and with two dogs, it felt cramped - this surprised us because when booking, we were told to call and let them know we were bringing dogs so we'd get the dog-friendly rooms. The bathroom was a bit weathered, with cracked tiles on the floor. The pillows are also very old and don't offer any neck support.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely location.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely wonderful! Every single staff member was incredibly helpful and genuinely lovely. Food is excellent, lovely a la carte cooked breakfast with continental buffet and excellent evening options (the triple cooked chips are fantastic).

Beautiful peaceful location on the river, gorgeous building, rooms are really well put together. Good selection of streaming on TVs, nespresso machines, really comfy beds and big towels are all also appreciated!
