The breakfast
The fact someone dented scraped my car i called they said the manager would call me back, but no one did or checked their cctv, although I now keep bring inundated with messages to review. So unfortunately this was my experience.
Very friendly welcome from man and young girl in restaurant. Good room. Quiet
Food was a bit pricey and only ok. Cooked breakfast not that good. Lady I paid in morning was professional but not especially friendly.
Refilling lpg tank at 11pm but it might not have been theirs
Good choice of breakfasts, location was good not far from main road with somewhere to walk nearby.
Nice clean tidy
Website offering discount but said I could not have it on my meal as I was in residence also only noticed that a service charge was put on my bill without even asking me was about 15 percent so not good in fact I thought it was cheeky more money motivated than anything else
Lovely old building and the owners had kept the integrity of it, low ceilings, uneven floors, original beams.
Breakfast was really good, very good ingredients, cooked freshly for you and served at your table... perfect!
A choice of two real ales, well kept. Lovely member of the bar staff on Friday evening, very helpful, pleasant and polite.
Seems to be more of a restaurant than pub as closing time was 10.30pm, by which time there was hardly anyone in, even at the weekend. Reception from bar staff member on Saturday evening at 10.25pm was less than welcoming, though he did serve us, seemingly reluctantly.
Un
All the staff were accommodating, helpful with checking in and after a long drive, very welcoming in getting us checked in and sitting for some food.
The eggs florentine with portobello mushroom was fantastic for breakfast!
The only comment I can really say here is that the radiator in the bathroom was turn on full - but this was inconsequential and had no impact on our stay.
Breakfast
Small room
Fantastic
Lovely setting, staff very welcoming. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Our toom was comfortable and very clean
The lighting in our room was poor. Another wall light above the tea/coffee tray would have a big improvement.
