Pros:

Estaba muy bien ubicada cerca de la estación de trenes y cerca del casco histórico, lo que mucho no me gusto fue el baño y la ducha, una sola para todo el piso y muy lejos.

Pros:

Check in was cumbersome as there was nobody in site. Also the room has no fan or air conditioning so on a 34c night we were boiling. Having the window open meant being woken up every time a tram went by.

Other than that the room was adequate and the location was excellent.

Pros:

Propreté médiocre mais bon matelas. Déco inexistante mais prix imbattable. Bien situé.

Pros:

Deux douches pour 26 chambres, sans verrou, mais avec une odeur d'urine. Le sol de l'établissement est certes aspiré, mais je suppose jamais lessivé. Pas de papier dans les toilettes.

Pros:

Most of the other reviews already state why it's not worth it. Honestly feels like a scam to have paid for such terrible service and such a rude staff. The bathroom floor was covered on dirt amd the sheets smelled like sweat.

Beware of steep stairs
Pros:

Didnt get to experience the room even though we paid before arrival. On arrival we were greeted with two horrific sets of dangerous narrow stairs at least 80 and anbout 80 degrees. Being over 60 this was out of the question trying to haul two suitcases up these narrow and high stairs there being no elevator at the hotel. The website does advise that there is no elevator but they dont tell you how steep and how high you need to drag your cases up to get to the floor with the rooms. This hotel would suit only those younger and withoug cases, eg backpacks or small cabin type cases. We left the hotel without entering even though we had prepaid and sort alternative hotel accommodation at Rho hotel in Nes Dam Square . Tough to just throw away two nights paid accommodation but there is no way I could have got my and my wifes 24kg cases up the stairs---dont let anyone tell you they are not steep , they are and their website doesnt prepare you for the steepness and number and narrowness and as an example you cant see the top from the bottom of the stairs .So beware not a good option if you are not ready for a steep climb--hou havve been warned.

Unethical Management
Pros:

I booked a room for my stay in this hotel from 21 to 23 July 2018 (2 nights) via booking.com. My booking was accepted instantly. But because it was overbooked, Hotel Weber canceled my booking on 20 July 2018 (only a day ahead of my arrival) claiming that my credit card is invalided. There is nothing wrong with my credit card. I left Strasbourg by train for Paris on 23 July 2018. I have been using my credit for sightseeing tours and admission to tourist sights in Paris. Obviously, Hotel Weber was overbooked and they claimed my credit card is invalid and canceled my reservation instantly. I found another hotel named Ibis Central Gare Budget via booking.com to stay. The rate is cheaper and it is only opposite Strasbourg train station. There are at least 1 dozen hotels with booking.com opposite the train station. Don't stay at Weber Hotel. They say 6 minutes walk from the train station on booking,.com. I passed by this hotel when I was in Strasbourg. It is easily 15 minutes walk. Please read about the bad comments they received. I have just realized the rating is very low,

Basic but OK
Pros:

You cannot expect a 5* service in a budget hotel... and this applies also to Hotel Weber. But some of the reviews here are clearly outdated or biased. To put it simply: it‘s a budget hotel, rooms are basic but clean, and for 1-2 nights it‘s not bad. Location is great: just a few minutes from the train station and 10 min. to the old part of town. The tram stop is not too distant either. My room had a proper private bathroom with shower, mirror etc., it was clean, no complaints there. The bed was not top, the mattress low quality and the bedcover could be changed, but all in all not uncomfortable. Not much space for luggage, though. A small TV (French channels only) and free WiFi (good for surfing but not for streaming), that should also be improved! My room in the back was very quiet, no noise from the street, but the acoustic isolation between the rooms is thin.
Again, don‘t expect anything fancy, and rooms may differ in threir outfit and price.... (check on that!) Certainly the owners should invest a little bit to make the place look more welcoming, but most likely they don’t care, money is coming in anyway. This city is reknown for its rip-off hotel rates and bad value for money at all accomodation levels: but if you‘re on a budget and come by train for a stopover visit to Strasbourg, it‘s OK.

Near the train station
Pros:

I don't honestly know why there are so many bad reviews here. I looked thouroughly and could not find better value in Strassbourg before booking here. It almost seems like many people want to travel on a budget but expect a 5 star hotel. This hotel was clean & friendly, and therefore I was very happy with it.
It was a 5 minute walk to the nice part of town which was also a bonus, and not too far to lug our bags from the train station.

Great Value, Friendly People!
Pros:

I stayed here in the summer (sorry I didn't write sooner!) and I couldn't have been more happy. We weren't expecting much for the price- and it was basic- but it was centrally located, clean, and comfortable with friendly staff. For the price, I don't think you could ask for anything better. I highly recommend this place to budget travellers.
(I rated the room 5 stars because I think for the price it is the best you can get. I rated the service 5 stars and I would have still done so had it cost more.)

Don’t expect anything
Pros:

The hotel is well located, near the train station and city center. The bed, shared toilet and shower were clean. But that’s it. The hotel staff tried to charge me, but I paid in advance, and they insisted, despite of the fact that I showed the invoice. At some point they gave up and took me to my room. No elevator, no tv on the room, just a bed, a sink, a chair and a table. I left my towel on the floor to be changed, as stated on the hotel’s instructions, but instead they put it on the back of the chair. Also, the hotel was very noisy.
Conclusion: don’t go to this hotel.

Just a basic place to sleep. Helpful staff.
Pros:

The hotel is a basic place to stay for a couple of days. The room and the shared bathroom are clean, the hotel is close to central train station. The staff was polite and kindly helped to bring my luggage to my room. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the guy at the reception helped me with my luggage. Also there is some smell in the corridors, though not in the room.

Good, not great
Pros:

The hotel was a bit far from everything, so not very convenient; but the room was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean as well, good for a short stay; it didn't include breakfast and it didn't have wifi (not even paying).

EXPENSIVE DISASTER!
Pros:

EXPENSIVE DISASTER. This low-grade establishment in no way deserves to call itself an hotel. It is an extremely run-down facility. To say that my room had "a private bath" was a "not funny" joke. The "bathroom" was tiny, and an old bathtub took up virtually all of the floor space. The wash basin was miniscule and of a type I had never seen before. It was located on top of the water tank behind the toilet itself so that one had to bend over the toilet from front-to-back to even get at it. It was suitable "only" for washing one's hands but absolutly nothing else, certainly not for brushing one's teeth let alone shaving. There was no mirror in the bathroom. To brush one's teeth or shave one was forced to use the kitchen sink. There was a mirror on the side wall one had to use for shaving, but the lighting there did not work so one had to shave in semi-darkness. The door between the so called "bathroom" and kitchen consisted of a sliding plastic shower door which was in disrepair and non functional rendering the bathroom" in no way private. As to heating, there was only one radiator in the entire facility which was located under a window behind curtains. The heating was minimal and the entire facility was really cold. Complaints to rececption were to no avail. I travel extensively and can truthfully say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had anywhere. For one-half the price one could say, OK, I couldn't have expected better, but for the disater that it was it was way over the top expensive.

horrifying
Pros:

This establishment that unduly calls itself a hotel shall not be admitted for public use. Out of 4 nights I have just spent there, there was not a single one where I could get some decent sleep. People (guests?, hotel owners?), walking up and down the floor and slamming doors all night long every night - that is what awaits you there. I used to sleep in many hotels in my life but never have I experienced that sort of nightmare! Beware!

my worst hotel experience ever
Pros:

I was unable to select the correct year of the review as it was the year 2000 when we visited Europe but I will never forget my stay in Hotel Weber. The location was close to the train. That is the end of the positive experience. The room was dingy, not merely unkept but truly skanky. Our room (#13 at the end of a hallway) had a door that didn't close very well. There were odd stains on the walls, not sure what it was. People running up and down the hall all night, strange sounds coming from above. I can remember feeling dirtier when leaving than when I arrived. Avoid this place, or visit at your own risk.
