We were very happy with our stay all in all
Pros:

Location was great.
Breakfast was good enough for a fast breakfast. Of course I would have liked eggs, but that’s OK.
Happy surprise was that their coffee was very good.

Cons:

The stomping sounds from the room above us for the first two nights. Could not sleep. We were moved to a new room after we complained. Should have done iso after the first night.

Gorgeous location with a friendly staff makes this a perfect beach adventure!
Pros:

We could see the ocean from our balcony if we leaned out which was lively! There were so many great places right nearby also. And the place smelled fabulous and was very bright and clean! They also have a great bar and mini bar in the room. The breakfast was a little random, but had lots of options and was good!!

Cons:

I couldn’t get the thermostat to go down, but we just opened the balcony and that was fine. It was also strange that there was no exterior handle on the balcony.

The perfect family vacation
Pros:

I can’t say enough about this hotel! The proximity to the beach and main drag in Hermosa was perfection. The parking facilities were quick and easy and the staff was phenomenal. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were so incredibly comfortable. I haven’t slept that well in ages. The shower was amazing - spacious and perfect water pressure. We had absolutely everything we needed - beach gear, towels, umbrella, chairs, boogie boards - you name it, they provided it. The perfect family vacation. I can’t wait to return to hermosa and when I do, I’ll be staying at h2o Hermosa.

Cons:

The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the old non-smart tv. You could cast but it was glitchy. We certainly didn’t come to Hermosa to watch tv so not a biggie for us (but we like to fall asleep to family movies on vacay).

Gutes sauberes Hotel in guter Lage mit sehr freundlichem Personal
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut. Gute Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe. Gutes Parken und für L.A. angemessener Preis mit 23 $. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut und ausreichend.
Sehr sauberes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal!
Tolle Strandpromenade in Sichtweite in 2. Reihe.
Super Standort um L.A. und Umgebung zu erkunden!
Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr gut gereinigt!

Cons:

Keine zusätzliche Komode für Kleidundsstücke um den Koffer auspacken zu können. Brummender Kühlschrank.

Excellent location, friendly staff, attractive lobby/sitting area and a clean room. Paid self parking in the covered lot was a breeze (though the hotel didn't seem full so I can't speak to peak times)

Nice hotel in a nice place, but with severe downfalls like the breakfast and paid parking.
Pros:

Location is good, near beach and Pier avenue. So nice shopping and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

Breakfast is absolutely poor and worthless. A few snacks and cold coffee. Won't come back due to this issue. Private parking for passengers should be included in the price, at no extra cost.
