Fantastic hotel, large rooms, convenient location, lovely staff.

Fantastic hotel, convenient location - a short walk from Kyoto station. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Rooms are huge. We had two rooms for 2 adults and 4 kids (all teenagers), we could have squeezed into one room if we wanted. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short-ish walk to other toursity places. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

Favourite hotel
Pros:

Location: It’s the perfect base for exploring Kyoto and nearby areas. It’s around 8-10 mins walk from Kyoto station, and walking distance to popular spots such as Nishiki Market, etc. It also has the best view of Goeido-mon Gate. If your planning to run, it’s 1km from Kamo River or you can do a loop around the temple. There’s also a LOT of good food options around. Tip: Checkout their food guide.

The hotel is very charming especially the lounge area. We spent some time to just sit in the lounge chair and enjoy the view outside while listening to relaxing music. Checkout their rental items, too, as it has a great selection of games, books, vinyl records, among others.
Tip: They offer free sake tasting, coffee in the morning and tea at night.

Room-wise, we specifically chose this hotel as we need a 2-bedroom place. It’s really spacious and comfortable.

Lastly, the staff were impeccable. Our checkin and checkout were a breeze, and they helped us with the luggage transfer.

We will definitely stay here again whenever we’re in Kyoto.

A fantastic location and hotel to stay in. Has everything we needed.
Pros:

Our second time returning to this hotel. Family of 4 with kids 12 and 14.
Rooms are large spotless and have everything we need.
Staff are fabulous.
Location is great. Overlooking an amazing shrine.
We will go back any day.

Pros:

So spacious and incredibly clean. The view from the massive window was the best we have ever experienced. My husband even managed to do laundry.
Walking distance very easy to rail and dinner.
Front desk was so welcoming and helpful.
We just loved it! Wish we stayed more than 3 nights!!

Great location and cool, comfortable vibe.
Pros:

We loved the comfortable beds and spacious apartment. The property had a minimalist vibe but was big on features and amenities. We loved having a fire place in our room as well as being able to use other cool items like vinyl records andbooks.
