Pros:

Die Entfernung zur Innenstadt.
Die Lage im Grünen.
Parken problemlos möglich.
Ausstattung war gewöhnungsbedürftig aber sehr einfallsreich.
Dusche mit warmen wasser funktionierte gut.
Die Rezeption und die anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Sauberkeit war nicht optimal. Nicht schlimm aber staubflusen sollten nicht sein.
das badezimmer incl. Toilettenbereich war zu offen. Nur durch eine Glastüre vom übrigen Bereich getrennt.
Die silikonabdichtung der duschwanne hatte schwarze Schimmelflecken. Ansonsten funktionierte sie aber gut, auch das warme Wasser.

Eine jalousie war defekt und die Betten nicht gut bezogen, der topper im bett war nicht gut gelegt und hatte sich verschoben.
Das dürfte in einem solchen hotel nicht sein.
Im grossen und ganzen war es aber okay.
Zimmer aber zu dunkel.
Der kaffee im frühstücksbereich schmeckte nicht.
Das rührei war unansehnlich als stände es schon seit längerer zeit im behälter.
Aufschnitt sowie die käsescheiben waren zu kalt gelagert.

The area was lovely, the local people were friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to the City Centre.
Pros:

Didn't book breakfast in the Hotel. The location was perfect for my husband and I as we were on the top floor onlooking the park and playpark. The group of five girls exercising in the park was amazing. They carried on despite the torrential rain on Wednesday morning, 9 September. Welll done!

Cons:

The floor was never cleaned and was pretty gritty so I tried to clean it myself. We didn't receive our allocation of four coffee capsules each day and had to ask for them at reception or from the cleaners. Neither were we supplied with extra toilet rolls when they were required.

De locatie was goed.

Het hotel is verouderd of niet goed onderhouden.1 spotje aan het plafond voor de ganse kamer, de zeep houders waren beiden leeg bij aankomst, toiletbril lag los op het toilet en paste niet op het toilet, het behangpapier hing los op sommige plaatsen en de kamer was niet echt netjes.

Pros:

Het gevangenisconcept is origineel en leuk uitgewerkt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het ontbijt is prima.
Fijne uitgangspositie om met de fiets naar de stad te gaan.

Cons:

Helaas zijn er ook duidelijke minpunten.

Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeerplaats. Naast de kamerprijs moet je nog eens €50 voor het parkeren en belasting betalen, in totaal €66 extra. Dat vinden wij behoorlijk fors.

De ramen van de kamer waren vies en er stonden nog vingerafdrukken en teksten van vorige gasten op. Handdoeken werden niet automatisch vervangen; hiervoor moesten we zelf bellen. Het bed werd helemaal niet opgemaakt.

Onderweg telefonisch een tafel reserveren voor Hotel Restaurant bleek onmogelijk.
Na zes minuten in de wacht werd de telefoon nog steeds niet opgenomen.

Fietsenstalling is krap en er was geen plek voor de fietsendrager.
Moest je op de auto laten zitten.

Jammer, want het concept en de vriendelijke medewerkers zijn goed. Maar de service, hygiëne en bijkomende kosten staan wat ons betreft niet in verhouding tot de prijs.

If you are driving it's a good base for visiting Alkmaar.
Pros:

Location was a short drive to city centre to visit various sites. Bed and washroom were excellent. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

There was some difficulty getting the lights in the room to turn off. Quickly dealt with by staff.

Tv deed het niet gemeld bij de receptie, zouden ze wat aan doen ze hebben niks gedaan.
