Home away from home
Pros:

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Riverview quite a lot over the last few months as it was the closest property to my father's house. And with every stay, the staff made me feel part of the family. This was particularly true in February and March of 2026 as I navigated being with my father in his last days, arranging his funeral, and saying good-bye.

The staff took care of me - they made sure I felt supported and took the time to write me a sympathy card and leave me a care package. They genuinely cared and were there for me at a really hard time.

And the staff all take their cue from their General Manager Christy. She sets the tone to make this not a hotel but a temporary home were everyone is welcome. Her stand out staff all take to heart to treat every guest as just that - a beloved guest - not a customer.

Special shout outs not just to Christy (who is amazing) but also the Jasmine who is an angel on this earth, Jamal who took time on his day off to chat, Angelica and Sam who always had a smile for everyone.

If you are looking for not just a place to lay your head but a place to call home as you explore South Tampa, you could not do better than the Fairfield Inn and Suites at Riverview.

Pros:

The room was very nice. The lady who checked us in & out (same person) was very friendly and happy. I liked the bathroom setup - it was roomy.

Cons:

It took me a little bit to find the regular towels. :-)

My stay was awesome.
Pros:

The breakfast was awesome, I love the location because you are surrounded around everything you need. This is an awesome hotel and staff . They take pride in serving the customers.

Schoon en netjes.

Cons:

Opbergruimte van kleding als je met 3 personen 1.5 week daar bent.
Ontbijt mag wel meer beleg hebben nu alleen scrambled eieren en hamburger. Een vlees beleg zou mooi zijn. En ook gewoon brood en niet alleen bagels en muffins

Reserved king bed. When we checked in we were given two queens. After complaining, room changed to one with a king bed.

Beware of online booking!
Pros:

It was clean, professional staff, and a great breakfast.

Cons:

I booked a king size room online, and when I got to their , they said that they overbooked, and I was demoted to a queen-size double bedroom. My level of expectation was not met. :-(

It was a good stay. We enjoyed the time. The reservationists Joe and Jamaal were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

I stayed here several times when we visit family in Riverview. This hotel is located close to where our family in Riverview lives. it is convenient, breakfast is in included in price and located near shopping area.

Cons:

I have no complaints.
