We enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique hotel, staff and facilities were excellent.
Pros:

This hotel is excellent value. It is well located in the heart of old town with great facilities which we tried out - the restaurants (excellent food), bar (great cocktails and views in the evening), spa (jetlag massages were excellent) and pool area (not large but ideal for relaxing after day of sightseeing). Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff, particularly Jess, Tony and Lucy were very helpful, and friendly, going out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was comprehensive with an excellent variety of options (breakfast room is spacious - unlike many hotels). We would highly recommend this hotel and are planning to return next year.

Cons:

There wasn't anything we didn't like, we were very happy with our stay.

まず、ロケーションが良く、歩いて旧市街を中心に観光を楽しめました。
ホテルのロビーも部屋も綺麗で、快適に過ごせましたし、朝食のブュッフェもたくさん種類があり、美味しかったです。
また、スタッフの方々が親切で、観光の提案からツアーの手配までしてくれました。
さらに、夜の便だったので、空港へ行く前にシャワーを利用させてもらい、帰り際にうちわのお土産までプレゼントしてくれ、至れり尽せりでした。

We had such an amazing experience at the Peridot! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

The Food: Absolutely delicious! Both the breakfasts and the dinners were incredibly tasty with fantastic variety.

The Staff: The entire team is so friendly and always genuinely ready to help. A special thanks to Jess, our amazing receptionist, who took such wonderful care of us throughout our entire stay!

Design & Atmosphere: The interior design of the hotel is spectacular. We loved the stunning views over Hanoi city, and the pool area is gorgeous—especially during sunset.

Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s a perfect 10-minute walk to the Old Quarter, right near all the souvenir shops, handmade boutiques, and everything a tourist might need (like silk clothes and luggage shops).

We had an unforgettable experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi! We will definitely be back.

This hotel was stunning. The service was top notch and the location was perfect. The facilities included two restaurants, rooftop pool and sky bar with live entertainment. The rooms were stunning and very comfortable and the staff were helpful and lovely.

Pros:

I absolutely loved the service here at the Grand Peridot. From arrival, throughout the trip and even after - Jess, our personal guest host looked after us. She provided great recommendations, told us when the train came and even helped us when we had checked out of the hotel several days later with a hot shower and a space to relax and wait for our overnight train days later. The food, the service and the overall experience was 10/10!

Cons:

For such a great experience, the hotel pool is a bit average and not overly well kept and serviced. The pool chairs are quite close together and I wouldn’t spend a long time there.
