The hotel was located in a great location in the old part of Hanoi. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options.
It would be hard to change due to the limited space but the the seating area around the pool was quite small and was usually very crowded.

Ins Summe ein sehr schönes Hotel. Der Eingangsbereich ist super, man ist dann direkt in einer anderen Welt. Meine Junior-Suite war wirklich toll. Beim Frühstück ist für jeden etwas dabei und die Hotelbar im 12. Stock auf dem Dach ist super.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis of calm and luxury in a city that—for the uninitiated—can be an overwhelming (overwhelmingly good!) experience. We had two stays at the beginning and end of our trip, broken by a four day excursion north to ride motorbikes out of Cao Bang (also a recommended experience), and I can’t say enough about the facilities and as importantly the friendliness and assistance of the staff.
One of the clerks at check-in helped us with transportation and arranging lodging for a night up in Cao Bang, and went out of her way to check in on us while we were on the road, to make sure we arrived safely and then to confirm our return. It was great, and a short stay at the Peridot was a much welcome respite when we returned to Hanoi.
The place is quite well-designed—luxurious enough to make one feel like a nineteenth century imperialist. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
I have just concluded an absolutely stellar stay at the Peridot Grand this April. The hotel is truly striking, characterized by its opulent yet sophisticated ambiance and its enviable prime location in the heart of Hoan Kiem. However, the true defining factor of my experience was the caliber of the staff, and Jess in particular. Jess’s professional competence is nothing short of exemplary; she is remarkably astute and maintained a proactive approach throughout my stay. Every request was handled expeditiously and with a level of dedication that made me feel truly cherished. I shall certainly return and hope to encounter more exceptional individuals of Jess’s caliber.

The pool was cramped and most days we could not get a bed. It was like everyone sitting on top of each other. We booked at the rooftop and they didn't have our booking and couldn't really accommodate us which was frustrating.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with drinks and snacks, which immediately set the tone for our stay. We spent 8 days at Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel and it truly exceeded our expectations.
Every member of the staff from the bellmen and receptionists to the housekeeping team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. A special thanks to Linh To, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. She helped book our coffee workshop and made sure we had everything we needed from the first day until our departure. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely caring and dedicated to making guests feel comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options, and we especially appreciated the fresh coffee prepared for us each morning by the attentive staff.
