I stay at Shilla Stay at least once a year. The staff is hardworking. Especially the bartenders. They have a heavy workload but they never complain. They're always smiling and very friendly. All the staff was great. Our flight arrived at 4:30 in the morning and we arrived at the hotel at around 7. Ms. Flora Lee was kind enough to allow us to check in early which really helped as we were extremely exhausted from our flight. The location is good and the rooftop bar is always amazing.

I have traveled extensively and stayed at countless hotels over the past 35 years, but this was hands down the worst and most horrific room I have ever encountered.
The moment I stepped into Room 804, I could not believe my eyes. The entire window was completely covered with opaque privacy film, making the room feel like a prison cell. To make matters worse, the blanket on the bed was damp, and the room itself was incredibly tiny. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos I saw on Booking.com; I felt completely scammed.
I immediately went up to the front desk to cancel the room and check out, but the manager had already left for the day. Thankfully, I was able to call my sister and escape this dreadful hotel. However, if someone had checked in late at night, they would have had no choice but to sleep in that prison-like room. The staff seemed entirely used to people complaining about this specific room, as if they already knew everything.
I had such a wonderful experience at Shilla Stay in Yeosu before, so this time I didn't even bother checking other options and booked this hotel solely based on the photos on Booking.com. It turned out to be the worst experience and the worst room of my entire life. I firmly believe someone needs to take responsibility for this room. They completely ruined all of my travel plans.
Shilla Stay hotel was a modern, convenient, and comfortable. Location was safe and well placed. Breakfast was amazing! Dinner was amazing! (many delectable options. Must try the noodle bar.
Do drop into the rooftop bar! Amazing view with accompanying delicious snacks & drinks. A must see! There’s a major road construction happening, so it is little disorganized in the vicinity:-)
The front door looks very plain for a hotel front door! don’t get confuse or taken by surprise. Registration check-in desk is not on the ground floor…Did not find out until the arrival to the property.

there were noises in the midde of the night probably due to the construction outside. also the windows need clearning in the room. can‘t really enjoy the view outside!
