The room was spotless and very comfortable the staff were friendly polite and very helpful would highly recommend
could not fault the hotel at all, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Only negative is that I was awoken by the cleaner who accidently came in to the room at 8.30
Convenient location. Ground floor room. Tasty breakfast and helpful staff.
Not a bad hotel overall. Good check in, room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed, decent powerful shower.
Dinner was very good and service quite fast considering the number of people dining in the restaurant (bridge night filled it up).
Would stay again
The greeting on arrival was lovely. We were really pleased with the size of the room and the comfort however by the evening the room was very hot with only one window that opened a small amount due to being on the ground floor. We suspect that the room backs onto the boiler room as there was a constant low level vibration/hum that, as a.light sleeper woke me during the night. Second night a wedding was happening in the function room opposite our room. This meant our dogs were woken numerous times by general party noise that would have been fine if we didnt have them with us. Ideally being situated away from the room would have made life easier. I suspect the dog barking woke other guests.
Great room and enjoyed our stay ,very comfortable and clean !
Room nothing whatsoever like the advertised pictures. Dated and scruffy, tv fallen off its wall bracket and just put onto a set of drawers, only one chair, disabled bathroom with grubby tiles, stained carpet. No thank you.
Amazing stay, family room was very roomy and comfortable, excellent food and breakfast
Nice hotel. Friendly staff
Good quiet location with easy access to Stratford
Good service, comfortable and spacious room.
.
Room was lovely and very spacious but the matress was sooooo hard.. so uncomfortable
Superb. Loved it
Did not like stairs to bedroom.
Superb, helpful and friendly staff at every interaction, they should be genuinely very pleased with the service they offer. Excellent food in the restaurant for dinner, only thing I’d perhaps change about breakfast is slightly better quality produce for the cooked sausages. But overall, an enjoyable stay in excellent accommodation.
Unfortunately although the staff at the hotel were lovely they were very understaffed so rushed off their feet. The actual accommodation etc was very tired and in desperate need of updating. We had a lovely large room in a separate little building (4 rooms?) and so was really quiet and peaceful, although incredibly dark as the vegetation was very over grown. The hotel was very well situated, it was just a shame that it desperately needed renovating.
The web site shows wonderful photos. The reality is totally different. They don't provide what is advertised, and refuse to cancel.
Shabby room, paper-thin walls, shower door off its runners, ran out of breakfast halfway through.
Our stay was overshadowed by a coach party booking - The other paying guests (clearly paying more for the privilege) were ignored because of the lack of staff. Breakfast was of a poor quality and the service was none existent. The Manager said that this had happened "quite a lot". Although the staff that were on duty were as helpful as they could be - The Hotel clearly has insufficient staff to deal with the number of guests and obviously rely mostly on coach parties for revenue at the expense of other guests. Our evening meal was also unacceptable. We were refunded the cost of the meal and the cost of breakfast. We checked out earlier than we had originally intended because of the disappointing experience.
Was ok - hot without AC but they tried with a fan. Main problem was ZERO water on the day of departure and we were not informed. I did complain and was told I'd be contacted with some resolution but that never happened. I needed a shower with the heat and there was none.
Rooms are quite dated. Mismatched furnishings add to the air of general neglect. TV remote didn’t work..
Dinner menu was quite limited and although we only a party of 3 people, one of my colleagues food was served 10 minutes after the rest. Quality of the food was OK.
On a more positive note, the staff were good, attentive and courteous.
