This is a lovely hotel. The room was large enough for two and the location in downtown Memphis was the most convenient for my visit. The staff, restaurant and bar area were all excellent. The food from the restaurant was great southern cooking with terrific wait service. In my international travel, I truly enjoy treating myself to a little luxury while visiting my hometown.
Nice friendly staff crew that pays attention to detail
We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the shower was amazing. However, the room was small, there were no comfortable chairs to sit in, and the noise from the ballpark was deafening. Being so close to a noisy ballpark, I would not stay here during baseball season.
Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. viel Staub im Zimmer sowie unsaubere Fernbedienung etc.
I like that the staff were very accommodating! The room was really clean and the bed was so comfortable
I didn't like that the air conditioner wasn't cutting on for a while even after i adjusted it. I woke up at 3 am sweating and after adjusting it finally started working but it was several hours later
I really enjoyed my stay here! Check in was quick & easy & Corey at the front desk was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable, made sure I was taken care of from start to finish & even granted me early check in. As a Hilton Gold member I appreciated this.
The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, I loved the aesthetic, & the view was great. The hotel itself was very clean.
I do want to mention that being downtown near Beale Street & the minor league baseball stadium, there was a lot of outside noise, but it wasn't enough to bother us. If you're a very light sleeper, it's just something to keep in mind.
My only wish is that the hotel wasn't pet friendly, but that's just my personal preference.
As for Curfew Restaurant, that's a separate review & doesn't reflect my experience with the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.

All staff was amazing! Front desk, manager, restaurant staff, housekeeping. Everyone!! My husband needed a firmer bed for his ailing back, and the manager made it happen. Remodeled room very nice. Great location across from the Peabody. We enjoyed a smaller crowd. Never waited for an elevator or fighting a large crowd and bustling atmosphere. Loved it and highly recommend it. We’d go back for sure!!!!
The hotel accommodation and location was good to access places of interest, Sun Records, Beale Street, various music museums.
The staff who provided breakfast service in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast itself provided a good variety of food.
The "hostess" on the evening of 10th May was very rude and unhelpful. This was Mother's Day in America. We checked with Hotel reception if we needed to book a meal for the evening meal, they informed us that it was not necessary. We also checked the Hotel's events calendar, a Mother's Day brunch was advertised, for which booking a table was required, nothing for the evening. We therefore, decide to eat at the Hotel. However, when we asked for a table the "hostess" informed us if we had no reservation, a table was not available. We explained we had checked beforehand and no reservation was required. She rudely repeated no table available. As it was 2000 and restaurant was shown to stay open until 2200 we said we were prepared to wait. She then informed us, also in an aggressive manner, that the restaurant was closing in 20 minutes (2020). We politely pointed out that the restaurant was shown to be open until 2200. She basically shrugged her shoulders and restated restaurant was closing in 20 minutes. I believe we were not the only people to be faced with this attitude on this night. Her unprofessional behaviour certainly did not show the restaurant in a good light. We did speak to reception, but all they did was to apologise.
