Hotel Riu Dubai Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Could not fault the hotel, staff or facilities, its what you would expect from Riu.
Dubai Islands is a new developement and with Riu and Centara next door being the only two finished buildings on a large building site, there is nothing else around. Its a taxi ride to anything else,but not an issue as there are plenty outside the hotel

Would recommend shuttle options from hotel to downtown Dubai or airport.

The opening hours for pool, gym, beach and breakfast are not good. 7.30 am for breakfast is a bit late, especially if customer is going to an excursion

Did not pay this price it’s like Benidorm and not Dubai resort at all you can get much nicer for just tiny bit more money on the palm

I recently stayed at Hotel Riu Dubai with my family and here’s my honest experience:
Pros:
The property is clean and well maintained.
The pool and ocean views are stunning—definitely the highlight of the stay.
The hotel feels safe and secure, with key-card access required for each floor.
The bars offer a wide variety of drinks, with one open until 2:30am.
Taxis are always available, and food delivery services will deliver directly to the hotel.
Cons:
Room issue: One of our party members had a bathroom leak. Maintenance repaired it, but the leak returned the very next night. Because we booked through Expedia, the hotel said they could not accommodate us—not even with a room change. This was frustrating and unprofessional.
Dining: Specialty restaurants were a major letdown. They served the same food as the buffet with very little variety. From day one, we were told all specialty restaurants were “fully booked,” and reservations could only be made two days in advance.
Limited amenities: Aside from the pool and beach, there isn’t much to do on the property.
Food safety concerns: Food is put out throughout the day (burgers, chicken hotdogs, etc.), but it is left uncovered and not timestamped, making it questionable how safe it is to eat.
Transportation: The hotel does not provide complimentary shuttles beyond the property. Renting a car is highly recommended, as taxis add up quickly and there are not many restaurants or shops nearby.

Everyone was nice and if you needed anything all you had to do is to ask and it will be taking care. Had a great and will recommend.

Hotel is in an island that is being developed at the moment so soon will be surrounded by other hotels and a shopping mall but at the moment there are only a couple of hotels. Food is great, staff is amazing.

Rooms are fabulous kept very clean. Public areas kept immaculate
Entertainment team are unreal and a credit to the hotel
Food - unreal - the choice and quality was 2nd to none min min in main restaurant was anazing
Change anything - yes - designated smoking areas not just "outside " on an evening
2nd time here see you next time xx

Great beach but I recommend buying special shoes not to get splinters, as we did. Great experience overall!!!! Loved it.

Plenty of pools as so not to over crowd. Property was very clean.

We loved thus hotel. This is a great familybfriendly hotel with everything a fanily can ask fir, including water slides. The food was great with variety. The lamb was great and my goto. It is a bit away from downtown but there are alway taxi in front. And its onlybaboutba 15 -20 min ride to downtown. We had talha one of the taxi drivers on call and he was great and on time picking us up from our destinations. The pools and beach are very clean and wel kept.One thing that stuck out to me and my was how clean and nice it was. We saw viseos online that dis not do justice to this hotel. In person it was a great modern hotel. Overall we will be coming back to Rui on our next trip back.

I expected to see more Emirates culture entertainment

Nothing to eat for breakfast. There’s nothing to eat in 3 mornings.

Any better options of restaurants the buffet was the best thing, but need better restaurants
