Belmorris Greentown Hotel

No cleaning during our 3N stay.
we had to buy our own toiletpapir during our stay.
A LOT of noice from the neighbours playing music/concerts after midnight (stayed 1st floor, no window). Could easily hear people outside in the corridor and other room/upstairs.
IMO I don't think the standard is a hotel.

Great with water cooler/heater for the guests (2th floor).
Elevater is fast.
A lot of places to eat right outside.

We had a bad experience with the Belmorris hotel Greentown Ipoh.
We booked a room there as it said it had parking.
It didn't mention coffee in the room so we phoned to ask if they had a kettle and coffee.
The man that replied was very rude, he was not on duty and to phone the other like, so we said, just tell us if there is coffee in the room, he started shouting and slammed down the phone on us.
We then phoned the other line and were told, no coffee, but there is a hot water maker on the second floor.
Ok, we packed our small electric kettle, cups and coffee
Next day we did the trip to Ipoh, found the hotel, but no parking.
We drove up and down the streets and all the side streets but no parking anywhere.
We then double parked in front of the hotel and my husband tried go into the hotel to ask about parking , but the doors were closed, he rang the bell and waited, he did that 3 times, when finally a lady came to open the door.
She told him that they only had the two parking bay's in front of the door.
My husband said that we'd like to cancel as we only took the Belmorris hotel because they advertised parking.
The lady refused to cancel, but told him that if he came back in two hours or when she phoned she'd have one of the parking bays empty for us.
That was not going to happen , what were we meant to do for the next few
hours.
It was so obvious that those two parking bays were for staff or owners.
The lady refused to cancel the booking and she refused to tell him her name.
We got hold of Agoda whom we booked with, they said there was no reply when
they phoned them , they also emailed them, but after 48 hours they gave up.
We have not be refunded even tho it said on the Belmorris site that there is a refund.
We paid RM 103, 46 and neither Agoda nor Belmorris Hotel has refunded us..
Yet on my Bank statement the money was paid into agoda account.
All receipts and bank statement including a letter like this one were forwarded to biz@agoda. Com.

Everything was really good, from the initial greeting at check-in to the efficiency of the check-out.
The staff were always friendly and helpful.
Our only criticism was the bass noise coming from the club next door. While this is not the fault of the hotel, it was difficult to get to sleep on our final night.
Very clean and comfortable room.

I already highlight to Hotel.com this hotel is fully closed, lights off and doors chained. Why hotel.com allow customer to book and become a fool. Then at the same night had to hunt for another room and I stop using Hotel.com
