Comfortable stay,one of the best gardens i have seen,clean and tidy,the hosts were lovely.

Great stay! Secure parking, very comfortable bed spacious room. What really made it though are the owners! So friendly and welcoming. Loved the bar at the end of the garden

This Is a cracking little b and b and worth every penny. The owners John and Sandra are brilliant hosts and nothing is to much trouble for them. Your are treated as one of the family. We will definitely be back and can't wait.

Liked absolutely everything about the stay. The staff went above and beyond to help in whatever way they could.

Greeted by the owner, very friendly, helpful chap. Comfortable room, good standard of cleanliness. Hot tub in the garden although we didn’t get to use because we had a busy day planned. Nice garden and free secure parking. Would happily stay there again and would happily recommend. Very reasonably priced.

Excellent hotel. Comfortable, clean, good value price. Good location with local shops nearby, easy walk into the city centre.
Street parking all around is controlled, but they have a private parking area which is not mentioned in the hotel description.

Great hotel with great friendly owners

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Host has a doggy and a cat that was a highlight of my stay very friendly and just as welxoming as the host. Would of loved to take them home with us. Room was nice to stay in for the night new furnishings and bed. Long deep bath was lovely to get home to on the evening and relax in.

The room was comfortable and suited an overnight stay

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent parking space. Toilets were clean, but could have been cleaner. The commode seemed unfixed to the floor and hence was unsteady. The shower was difficult to use, with no clear signs how to get desired temperature.

Great value hotel, we stayed for 1 night when visiting Hull. Whilst the bathroom was a little tired, it was clean and looked after. The room was clean and comfortable, with TV, kettle and hairdryer. For £28 a night including a secure car parking space you really can't go wrong. The owners are friendly and helpful and the location was quiet. The only thing to think about is that it's approximately 15 minute walk to the centre, fine for us as we like to walk.
Would I stay here again? Yes it's a total bargai.

Everyone at The Vale were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. I had initially made a mess of arrangements, but John and Sandra took this in their stride and sorted everything without fuss. What could have been a big problem wasn't, thanks to both of them. This really set the tone for our entire stay of almost a week.

The hotel, recently refurbished, is pleasant and clean with a gated free car park and recreation garden as well as front and back keys for extra ease and security.

The bar in the garden is friendly, and John, Sandra and Iain are helpful. They will include you in conversation, or leave you to your own devices as is your wish.

The hotel is very near Hull Royal Infirmary, KC Stadium and 5 minutes walk to the city centre.Hull City golf course, the driving range and various parks are nearby. Hessle Road offers good alternatives for shopping. The Deep, Museums Quarter and Marina can be walked to in 15 minutes.

It would seem that John and Sandra will happily help with anything, even transport advice. Highly recommended.

very good for the money you pay comfortable clean stayed four nights you get what you pay for premier inn was twice the price and at the end of the day you sleep there not live in the place
