Pros:

Love the decore and history! Staff was also super friendly and helpful!

Cons:

Our room was on the top floor and had a skylight right by the bed. The shade to cover it was white. We were blinded by daylight around 4:30am and were unable to go back to sleep. I would recommend changing the shade to a darker color to block out the early morning light!

The previous reviews are right- this place is amazing! I will be coming back for sure. A cute and cozy cottage located right in bar harbor. The staff genuinely cared about each guest staying there, knowing us by name and having lovely conversation. The rooms were huge and very comfortable beds. The food was amazing, breakfast every morning with amazing sweet and savory options and great coffee. Every afternoon they had tea time with homemade treats. Cozy lobby to relax in and fantastic recommendations to local restaurants and spots to visit by the staff.

Refined, cozy and delicious Breakfast + Tea Time.
Pros:

Loved the breakfast and tea time! The whole design of the place was super cozy and refined. The location was also ideal for staying in Bar Harbor. We were just a short walk away from main street and Ocean Path.

Cons:

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The staff was resourceful and flexible to our needs.

Pros:

This hotel was right next to central Bar Harbor, but behind the main street so it was quiet. The staff was incredibly nice and approachable, and dietary restrictions were well considered at breakfast. The room was nice, although definitely on the older side.
