Having the bar and restaurant on-site was awesome. Joe the Bartender was excellent. The terrace was a nice touch.

When I was checking in. There were two people at the counter and one lady in front of me being helped. By both staff. After about 10 min of standing there waiting to check into my room I asked if one of them could please check into in so I could get to my room for an important work related zoom call. She still told me to wait so I asked if there was a private room in the lobby area I could take my zoom call. She said no. I finally got checked in to my room and was 5 min late for the call no thanks to them. Poor service and they acted like they didn’t care or want to be there.
We booked directly with Hilton as a family of 4 and where did they place us?! Next to their nightclub! We heard salsa music until 1:00AM. The beds and pillows were horrible. I added the breakfast, which was $15pp, thinking it was a buffet style. Not so. You had to sit down and be waited on. The server was very sweet but scattered. However, she had to walk half a mile from the breakfast area to the bar to place our orders in their system. Plus, the Chef was horrible! Either he couldn't fully understand English or was just belligerent! He messed up several orders. Do better Hilton!
Stayed July 3 @ 4..Great view ..lots of shops and eatery..Best thing about weekend was Hilton employee ( IVETTE ) she went out of her way to make sure we got extra pillows. And phoned us to ask if we received them before leaving work..WOW..give IVETTE the week off with double pay..she went above and beyond expectations....the breakfast was excellent..breakfast ladies are also helpful..

The friendliness of staff and how approachable they were is what we liked. For those of us traveling from out of state and new to the area/visiting, this is appreciated. All amenities and food were great. The location was idea and close to restaurants and city center activities as part of the historic downtown.
Paid parking, although this is a requirement of the city itself, the hotel staff explained so this clarification was appreciated.

The restaurant food was excellent. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the salmon, and both dishes were delicious. The room was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. We stopped here on our drive back from Destin to Boca Raton, and it was the perfect choice for an overnight stay. Having dinner at the hotel was very convenient, and checking out early the next morning was quick and easy.
The only downside was the parking. I was able to find free street parking, but if those spots aren't available, you'll need to pay to park in a nearby public garage.
