Pros:

Clean atmosphere

Cons:

Extremely loud music playing through hotel from property beer garden into late hours close to midnight, child unable to sleep. Unable to process booking.com payment forcing me to sit in lobby and resolve on my own with booking.com before even letting me into the room which was extremely embarrassing and ultimately the hotels fault for not knowing how to separate pre paid room for incidentals and parking fees.

I will be staying again, loved it and the location.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok.
Location is the best in Erie for what i like to do.

Cons:

Paying for parking if we are staying at the hotel. I understand if you are just parking there to go to dinner at Olivers or have fun at the beer garden.

Another excellent stay on the Erie Bayfront.
Pros:

We come to Erie once a month to visit my husband's mother in Fairview and stay at this property every time we can (it is very popular and often full). We like the location, on the Bayfront, very convenient and centrally located (and not near the Mall, the casinos or the Downs, which fir us is a plus). If available and in your budget, we recommend the studios with a kitchenette and wet bar: they are great! Lots of space, very comfortable and with beautiful views of the Bay! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is very good and abundant, and served in a bright open area. And Oliver's, the wonderful restaurant on the top floor, is great: the menu (brunch and dinner) is splendid and delicious, the views of the Bay are fantastic and the service is top shelf! (We go at least once per stay even if we are not staying at the property :):):)). A special thanks to the wonderful Cherelle at the Front desk and to John at Oliver's: you both make our stays st the Hampton Erie Bayfront feel extra special! :)

Cons:

A small detail: the lighting in the rooms is not sufficient and even with all lights on the rooms remain dark. Adding a light, such as a big floor lamp to the room on the side across from the desk would be a great improvement to what are otherwise very pleasant and well appointed rooms.
Also the hotel charges for parking even if you do not use the Hampton's parking facilities or if you park on the street.
