Good and will go again maybe just book a normal room not a city view
Pros:

Everything from the room to the lobby to the staff

Cons:

I booked a queen room with a city view but had been given the end room and could see the opposite building getting work done and covered in scaffolding

Big clean room in a modern hotel with breakfast included
Pros:

It was modern and clean in a good location. The room was really spacious. The room facilities were great especially the mini fridge. Big bed with great pillows. Breakfast included was also a positive perk.

Cons:

For some reason the door to the bathroom is the same as the wardrobe door? It wouldn’t lock and was just a very inconvenient design. I booked a city view however when we got to our room the view was only of the adjacent tower block. The staff member checking us in kept talking to their colleague and not engaging with us. It was very awkward, we didn’t understand what they were doing until they just gave us our room key with no information. A staff member at breakfast told us off for not following the one way system at breakfast? This would’ve been fine however me and my partner were the only two people there so there was no need to state that. We then watched later on in our stay that other people were doing the same thing as us and the same staff member just did not say anything. There are also no signs to state this rule. Why would we go all the way round when no one else is there to get a specific item? We just found it overall unnecessary and a bit rude when we were the only people told off for a rule that isn’t made explicit?

Ok stay but wouldn’t stay again
Pros:

It is close to the centre, most things within walking distance

Cons:

Firstly arrived and the intercom was not working for the car parking resulting in blocking the road, the beers I requested to be in the room were but without a bottle opener and the bar didn’t have one either so had beers but couldn’t drink them, there were stains in the curtains although everything else looked ok and a rude 8am wake up call from the external work being done that weren’t pre advised about.
