Perfect location and gorgeous hotel
Pros:

We loved the location. Close to lots of great restaurants, shops and at a lovely part of Kyoto. The room was spotless and modern, spacious, Nespresso machine and a great shower. Plus the trolly service every night. How sweet!!!

Cons:

I liked everything. For info, the room we had at the schoolhouse floor had very high windows so not really any views and low natural light. That didn't bother us, it was a spacious room and it felt great.

Very reccomended
Pros:

Perfect hotel. We were previously in another hotel that we didn't really enjoy, we moved to Gate and from that moment on our vacation became perfect. Huge hotel in the best location in Kyoto! Everywhere is 5 minutes on foot. Spacious and clean rooms, kind and dedicated staff, a perfect hotel, highly recommended!

Cons:

Laundry is very expensive.
