Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen, einer der Gründe warum wir sicher wieder nach Japan reisen - TOP! Lage Top, Personal Top, Essen Top, Stadt Top.... Hoffentlich bekommen wir beim nächsten mal wieder Zimmer wenn ich so eine Bewertung abgebe:)

Apart from the friendly staff, the good and clean rooms, and the good location, they offered a free Noh show, as well as a pianist playing multiple times during the day (i think only on weekends though).
There was a nice place to relax and grab a drink as well. I really enjoyed these details.

Pros:

Ubicación perfecta, en una calle paralela a Pontocho, que te permite llegar caminando a muchos lugares de interés. Muy limpio, personal súper amable, habitaciones amplias, muy cómodas y con todo lujo de detalles.

Cons:

El único inconveniente es que no tiene room-service, por lo demás, todo perfecto

Pros:

Functionally perfect location for first time visitors to Kyoto, well balanced for repeat travelers as well.

Rooms are comfortable, well appointed. Staff is very helpful - just ask, and they will try to accommodate any reasonable request.

Dining on site is good. Blue Bottle is a great western-friendly coffee for breakfast, but the Japanese dining on site is actually worth the visit - something which is challenging with as much good food is nearby.

Cons:

Zero complaints.

Charming hotel in a fantastic location.
Pros:

Fantastic location by the river, close to restaurants, shopping and key areas such as Gion and the Fish market. Added amenity of a lounge with complementary drinks and snacks.
