Great stay in the heart of Kyoto
Pros:

Beautiful property and I loved the uniqueness of this being an old primary school building. Lovely staff and a great lounge / reception area with gorgeous views. Highly recommended.

Cons:

The entrance to the hotel has some restaurants which is handy but can smell sometimes, which is not pleasant esp. with stale cooking smells.

El personal para ser un 5 Estrellas nada profesional, por no tener no tenían ni un traductor. La lavandería fue un desastre, nos trajeron la ropa sucia planchada, nos dijeron que por su error no nos la conbrarian y al check out nos dicen que no había nada anotado en nuestra ficha… un desastre

The hotel and the location in Kyoto were excellent
Pros:

The Breakfast was excellent.
The views from the eighth floor truly spectacular.
The amenities for the guests to use cannot be faulted.

Cons:

The furniture in the foyer and my room were made with fabric . This made it very obvious that they needed to be cleaned or the fabric replaced. It spoils the opulence of the areas.

We didn’t stay at a hotel- it was a palace
Pros:

Perfect location- staff help us to get taxi.
So polite and
Friendly.
Very close to everything. There are authentic Japanese restaurants everywhere serving amazing dishes.
Went way and above service.
Like a 10 star hotel

Cons:

Question- if I would have left my shoes out side
By my hotel door- would they be polished the next morning. ???

Posizione eccellente, hotel moderno e pulito, molto gradevole

Cons:

Ingresso senza reception (che si trova all’8o piano), stanze piccole, palestra sostanzialmente inutile (non ci sono neanche i pesi), nelle foto si presenta meglio di come è realmente.
