DEFINITELY worth the Stay!!
Pros:

This was our second year staying at Casa Mariano and it was just as pleasant as the first time! The room was spacious and clean, it had a mini-fridge and a small stove, and the AC was cold!! The shower had cold/hot water and the toilets worked properly.
The Staff remembered us from last year and (because the rooms were available) gave my wife to opportunity to pick the room she wanted for the week. Thank U!
The free breakfast includes beans, chilaquiles, and your choice off eggs (scrambled, mixed with bacon or chorizo or vegetables, etc) and either coffee or juice.
You can enjoy it in the rooftop dining area while enjoying the view of the city and mountains or they offer to take it to your room.
There is always someone at the front desk and the door to access the rooms is closed so you don't have to worry about random people walking around in the halls.
The Location is also Great- it is walking distance to the heart of Downtown, but far enough to relax.
It's not a big property and has the Family atmosphere with the Staff.
**The Owners (husband and wife) were on property overlooking renovations being made and even took over the kitchen because they gave Staff the day off.
"Attitude reflects Leadership."
You can see it in the way Staff smile and take care of things.**

**NOTE: next year we have to be in Tepic for a WHOLE month and we're seriously considering make ourselves at home in Casa Mariano.**

Cons:

We didn't have cable nor internet connection on Friday and Saturday nights.
**HOWEVER**
They contacted the Technician and had him come on SUNDAY NIGHT to make the necessary repairs! Instead of waiting to have it fixed during regular business hours, Casa Mariano had it done right away, on a Sunday night.

The hotel run out of water for shower and restrooms.. no water during my stay... they should pay close attention to those details...
