We went to Sofia for a wedding and we had a very good stay. Comfy bed, great service, great food, love the spa. The only complaint is that our air con didn't work but once we called reception they sent an engineer fixed it right away (in the middle of the night!). Staff are very responsive and helpful. I would stay again.
Excellent!
My wife and I visited Sofia for three days as part of a tour of Bulgaria. We expected a high standard from Hyatt, and our expectations were indeed fully met. The hotel is in an excellent central location, and our room was larger than one often finds from similar hotels.
The outstanding aspect of our stay was the superb customer service delivered by Yusef in reception. I became ill during our stay and wished to see a doctor. He advised on a nearby hospital and was very supportive and empathetic.

Hyatt Regency Sofia is an amazing boutique hotel with excellent service, and most importantly, quiet and pleasant.

Relatively high accommodation price.
Considering what we know about booking through Booking.com, everything is always all-inclusive; it is not clear why there were payments of various city taxes. Booking.com is advised to check this.

We stay here once a year to visit family. The hotel give you a sense of being in a nice Hyatt Regency in the States. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn and the Hilton and you don't get- that sense of being 'comfortable'.

We’re fans of Hyatt and stay in them often. This one exceeded all our expectations. Excellent location, beautiful rooms, warm and welcoming staff. We will be back and we’re excited to stay here again!
Modern, comfortable facilities, great selection of cocktails in club lounge during happy hour and the most friendly staff in this lounge, also great spa zone and very nice people there
Service in the rooftop bar was quite rude (girl who was waiting for guests), which is not acceptable taking into account the prices there. In general - prices around the property are Western European, but the service must be improved in many areas (apart of spa and star lounge)
