Drivers in Eastern Europe are incredibly noisy so when your hotel is on one of busiest roundabouts in the city it won’t be peaceful. Still we closed our windows and that shut a lot out. The hotel itself is well run with a good restaurant but I’d encourage them to improve their bar make it more American in style and not a mish mash between a coffee bar and a proper bar. Get rid of the cigarette shop and hey presto you’ve got the room. Location for sight seeing is excellent and we could walk to many of the main attractions, an enjoyable stay.

Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel, I was informed that the price I was required to pay was different from the rate that had been agreed upon when I made my reservation by phone. No one was able to verify or explain the reason for this discrepancy. As I was staying at your hotel to attend a wedding held in your venue, I did not wish to argue or allow this issue to spoil the celebration.
In addition, the staff serving the event in the Vasil Levski Hall were extremely unprofessional and did not provide the level of service one would expect from a hotel of your standard. Guests repeatedly had to call staff members several times and wait an excessive amount of time to be served. The staff appeared unaware of the arrangements that had been agreed upon with the bride and groom, which resulted in numerous mistakes and even verbal disputes with guests.
Furthermore, the beverages that had been delivered in advance were not chilled, despite a prior agreement that they would be. Guests also had to personally bring the flowers given to the newlyweds to the staff and repeatedly request that they be placed in water.
I do not believe that the experience I have described reflects the standards or the prices associated with your hotel. I hope you will investigate these matters and take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service provided to your guests.

My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Sofia was exceptional from start to finish. As a Hyatt Globalist member, I have stayed at many Hyatt properties around the world, and this hotel stands out for its outstanding service, beautiful facilities, and genuine hospitality.

Before even discussing the hotel itself, I want to recognize several team members who made my stay truly memorable. A special thank you to Daria I., Front Office Team Leader, and Natalia, who went far above and beyond to arrange a wonderful suite upgrade despite the hotel operating at very high occupancy during my stay. Their professionalism, warmth, and commitment to guest satisfaction exemplify the very best of Hyatt hospitality.

I would also like to thank Olga, who provided outstanding service each morning at breakfast. She was consistently welcoming, attentive, and helped make every breakfast experience enjoyable.

In the Club Lounge, Theodora was equally impressive. Her friendliness, attention to detail, and genuine desire to ensure guests had a great experience made the lounge one of the highlights of my stay.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The location is perfect, situated within walking distance of many of Sofia’s major attractions, restaurants, government buildings, and cultural sites. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection featuring fresh local specialties, made-to-order options, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service throughout.

The Club Lounge was another standout feature, offering a comfortable and elegant environment, excellent food and beverage selections, and attentive staff throughout the day.

The spa and wellness facilities were equally impressive. After busy days exploring Sofia, the spa provided the perfect place to relax and recharge. The facilities were spotless, beautifully maintained, and added tremendous value to the overall experience.

From the beautiful suite and excellent amenities to the exceptional service provided by Daria, Natalia, Olga, and Theodora, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Sofia to anyone visiting the city and look forward to returning on my next trip to Bulgaria.
