We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed at Montage Healdsburg, a very nice property for sure!! Staff was welcoming and very courteous. My wife & I enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The grounds were beautiful, but most of all, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They really made us feel special on our anniversary. Thanks for an amazing weekend, Montage Healdsburg!

Got no assistance with 2 large heavy suitcases upon arrival to the resort in my rental car. Was ignored and then asked to move my suitcases out of the way so the wedding guests could get by. Requested rides from our room to the front of the resort and it never came after waiting 20 minutes

This is an outstanding retreat-style property an easy drive outside of San Francisco. The new-build rooms are excellent. The property is secluded but not remote.

We opted for a slightly larger suite room and it was worth the extra expense. The outdoor shower was excellent. The living area was spacious and the forest view was serene.

The bed itself was comfortable with excellent sheets. The room was quite dark at night. The pillows were plentiful and allowed us to get things “just right.”

The bathroom was spacious with a large soaking tub, an indoor shower and a private outdoor shower. There were plenty of fresh towels. There were also nice amenities. The soap and shampoo choices were excellent. The robes were plush.

There was a large outdoor balcony where we were able to take a meal. There was also a fire pit though I was too lazy to to figure out how to turn it on.

The restaurant and bar are quite nice. They have a good menu and an easy breakfast buffet. At peak times you will wait a few minutes like any large hotel. At any luxury property I sort of assume a bunch of people who got a free breakfast with their Amex will all show up around 9:30 to 10 and plan accordingly. The worked well here.

The valet was prompt.

We did not have an opportunity to check out the spa pool… But they looked quite nice.

The property is spread out, so be prepared to walk or they will take you around on a golf cart.

I read a few reviews where people were complaining about the service or various other items. I can be a pretty tough critic… And I truly wish I could’ve seen the experiences these folks had. Nothing I saw matches up with what they wrote. Maybe some people cannot be pleased.

The property charges a hefty fee but from my experience delivered the value.

My wife and I took our honeymoon at Montage and we were not disappointed. Everything was top-notch and the staff was exceptional. The food was excellent and we were treated like royalty. We can’t wait to return!

We are currently staying at Montage Healdsburg and want to recognize Justin B. at the front desk for his exceptional service. He helped us resolve a noise issue quickly and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of excellent. Justin’s professionalism and genuine care truly stand out, and he reflects the highest standard of hospitality here.

Property itself is fantastic, especially the pool and rooms. However, the restaurant is….really not good. We’ve been to this property twice and we disappointed both times in the restaurant. Someone in our party ordered something for dinner that had a very bad, chemical-y taste. Such a shame, as a good restaurant would elevate this to one of the best places to stay in wine country.

The photos don't give a real sense of how large the place is. the rooms are very private and feel like houses. Large decks, outdoor sofa and fireplace. it was like staying in a treehouse. The whole place is low-key and very relaxing. I would happily stay here again.

The whole team shines, they all pull together and do a great job. Very refreshing in this day and age.
Food, grounds, buildings are all beautiful. A truly relaxing and enjoyable 4 day stay in a wonderful town with lots of things to do and see.

Our stay at the Montage Healdsburg was made truly memorable . I cannot say enough amazing things about Ginny Kwan from guest relation. Ginny went above and beyond to ensure our experience was special. Ginny is incredible attentive genuinely personable, and has that ability to make you feel like you're the most important guest on the property. Her warm energy, professionalism and eye for detail set the stone for a truly exceptional stay. This is five star service and absolute best. Thank you Ginny for making our visit a a lot of fun.

The guy who checked us in and had us sit in the bar while we waited until 5:45 pm for our house to be ready for check-in. Very memorable, indeed. He sent us a nice card with some cookies and promised to comp our in-room dining (which is still on our bill. He never took care of it). Or maybe the lady who wouldn't allow us to wait in the restaurant and eat dinner while we waited nearly two hours past check-in to get access to our house. Unforgettable. Maybe the restaurant who is peddling choice cuts of sirloin as "Wagyu NY Strip". Unbelievably expensive stay and far more disappointing than expensive. The team has the language and the marketing of service down to an art, but they do not bother to DELIVER the actual experience. Like a bunch of secretly angry clowns. Ridiculous.

This was our worst stay ever at this hotel. The quality and service has dropped way off. We were not the only ones as our neighbors (not with us) were heard upset with staff. It actually became fairly consistent over the weekend. Cleanliness issues, valet was horrible and check in experience seemed forced ... once you were able to check in.

Our suite in the midst of the oaks was spacious, very comfortable and quiet. We used the electric bikes one morning (gratis for 2 hours) and the fellow who helped us with them made sure they were properly sized for us. Our only quibble is the cost of breakfast and the service: pancakes, a bowl of yogurt and fruit, coffee and tea cost over $70! Plus my husband had to wait a very long time for more maple syrup and by the time it arrived, his pancakes were cold. At that price a small pitcher of maple syrup should arrive with the pancakes.

This property from the time you arrive until you reluctantly leave pampers you and transports you to vacation bliss. From everyone addressing you by name to making sure even your thoughts are taken care of as they anticipate in advance all your needs and desires. It will be hard to stay anywhere else!
