Expectations were high but the end result was somewhat disappointing!
Pros:

We decided to try out this hotel going by the high ratings for stay and breakfast (>9) in booking.com. Perhaps we were expecting an exceptional facility, that we were disappointed to be honest.

We found following as Pros:
1. Proximity to the Mall of America
2. Complimentary Hotel shuttle, which runs late into the night, to/from Airport & Mall of America- super nice
3. Friendly staff
4. comfortable bed
5 Large room, with a nicely equipped kitchen area.
6. Nice gaming area (pool table and other games)
7. Relatively newer facility

Cons:

1. The most disappointing was the Breakfast. We saw exceptional rating for breakfast at booking.com. I think these are likely from guests who previously stayed in some cheaper facilities (or for other unknown reasons) that they found this sub-par breakfast to be great. Yes it was complimentary and there were items to choose from, but the overall quality was poor. The bread loaves were smelly; the yogurt tastes like carp with fillers and perhaps preservatives; orange juice was very acidic and bitter/tasteless; egg items seems to be not made from fresh eggs, rather from stocks containing preservatives giving a poor taste. Apples were wilted, bananas were tasteless. The saving grace were quiche, pretzel buns, and cereal. From our stay around the world at Hilton, Embassy suits, Residence Inn, Courtyard etc. where complimentary breakfast is standard, this was by far the worst (quality).

2. The toilet seat was dirty and there was no housekeeping staff available to clean late in the evening, so we had to move the room to a different floor after check-in (although, the housekeeping staff who attended to our room the next day was very courteous and did a great job at the new room).

3. Some of the front desk staff were misinformed. We asked for a regular item and the staff member said that they ran out of it and that it will now arrive only 4 days later due to weekly delivery schedule!!, only for us to get pleasantly surprised the next day morning when a different staff member could grab it for us in no time!!

4. No blackout drapes. The window blinds (paper?) were average (some rips/damages on them) that it doesn't fully cut-off the light in the night. The light from the adjacent parking lot peeps in through the sides and the bottom of the blind.

5. You can listen to every conversations from the corridor, and the footsteps of the neighbor above you- can be annoying if they have kids running around.

6. No on-site restaurant, besides serving breakfast.
