We were there for 4 nights, and it would've been nice to have some variation or choice for breakfast; instead of a salad, would've liked some cereal or meat/cheeses (since breakfast was continental)

Não ter um bar no restaurante acaba sendo complicado para quem quiser aproveitar o final do dia no hotel. Café da manhã foi muito bom porém confesso que fiquei com fome (poderia ter um pouco de mais comida). Hotel fica localizado bem no meio de outros prédios altos então o quarto não tinha nenhuma vista.
Great experience felt authentic Japanese.
Everything was perfect, except for the aircon placement. The hotel uses ducted aircon vents which, unfortunately, was placed right smack on top of the bed. Although the room had a high ceiling, one had to keep their head covered with the blanket just so that cold air won't be continuously blasting on to one's head.
Nevertheless, the hotel itself was clean, modern, and in a quiet neighborhood. They finally have room service, which unfortunately for us we weren't able to try because it was only from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
The room itself was immaculate - the bathroom was huge, and the toilet was a Neorest AH. Overall, we'd go back to this.
One last thing - always get the full breakfast. You won't regret it!

from what I read in the booking evaluations, I expected a much more elegant, 5 star hotel. The hotel is beautiful but has no amenities or services beyond the room. The staff is helpful but recommended very ok restaurants, I was expecting a more elevated service. The location is ok, but you have to walk at least 10-15 minutes to reach any interesting place.
I´ve chosen it given the grade and the fact that it was more typical but for this price, I´d have stayed in a fancy 5 stars hotel for all the comfort and service.
ひらまつホテルは全部制覇するつもりで、箱根、沖縄、京都と泊まりましたが、料理はどこも大変美味しかったです。京都は立地の関係かトイレとバスが一緒なところ以外は満足でした。

門をくぐった時から始まる素晴らしいもてなしと、シンプルで和モダンな館内室内が心を落ち着かせてくれます。観光ではなくここでの時間を過ごすためだけに訪問しました。広く清潔な室内は、静かな時間を過ごすにふさわしい。いずみでの夕食をいただきました。旬の食材に手間をかけたそれぞれの料理、特に八寸は注目に値します。日本酒も楽しめて、とても若いスタッフですが細かな気遣いがとてもよい。英語も中国語も使えます。また行きたい
