This is for unit 1A. I wish I had read the other past negative reviews of this place.
No internet. Since our unit 1A intenet did not work they suggested we use the neighbor's Wi-Fi internet. We did, which was below dial-up speed so unusable. We could not do business video calls due to the lack of internet. The owners know the internet doesn't work. They do not care.
The fireplace did not work.
The hot tub on-site was empty - no water.
One of the bedroom windows did not shut completely, which is a problem in the winter of January.
We were not allowed to use the ski locker, which was not a problem but odd.
The TV did not get local network channels like CBS, NBC, ABC
Its clear the owners know about these issues. The above issues could be solved for less than $200, but they do not care. We communicated consistently with the property manager throughout the trip, but they said, "sorry it doesn't work."
The unit was horrible. It was dirty, the blinds are in terrible condition(worried about people peeking in)
Parking in a parking garage was unavailable and no one seemed to know that the garage was closed, we called to find out what was going on and said they would call back but did not. After calling the front desk again they told us we could park at Treasure Mountain and carry our stuff a few blocks to the lodge on a 12 % grade. We were given so many excuses and the blame was put on everyone else. Ultimately clearly someone dropped the ball here and everyone is responsible. We stayed in unit F, which was not that clean, needs updated. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the tub drained very slowly. We ended up leaving a day early because our experience was so poor. We travel a lot and this was the worst experience and for the money we paid
It should have been more comfortable We would not stay here again and will not recommend this place.
No on-site staff. Leak above us resulted in water shut off for entire building. “Will be on tomorrow morning”. They did relocate us to another property close by but we had to pack up and move when we returned late at night.
Stayed in the summer, walked into the unit, and found it to be 92 degrees. The in-unit portable swamp coolers didn’t have water in them so they were just blowing hot air and all the windows had been closed. We later figured out they were closed because they had no screens.
In one of the bedrooms the window was broken and couldn't be opened at all, this room was totally unusable due to the heat. We booked this property as we had two families and each room was allocated. We ended up having to use the couches in the living room as a bedroom.
Despite the thermostat being turned all the way down the radiators were still on. Not ideal in 90+ degree days.
WiFi never worked, Comcast remote was missing. We did have consistent communication with the property manager throughout the first half of the trip. We rebooted the router multiple times, but still no luck. They had whomever they use on-site to try to fix it, but still no luck. We were told that someone would bring a Comcast remote mid-day Monday. It didn't show up, and it didn't matter as we had no TV function anyway.
The location was great, though. That is the ONLY redeeming factor of this property.
Toilet wouldn’t flush.
Beds are old and uncomfortable.
Location is great though.
The location was amazing but Unit F has some problems. the toilet doesn't fully flush and requires two flushes each time, the bathtub drains slowly and I was in standing water during my shower, and the wi-fi never really worked (it would for about five minutes and then I would get kicked off). They sent maintenance guys over immediately to look at the wi-fi but the router was locked in a closet they didn't have access to so I had to leave the property to work from a restaurant with wi-fi. The issue was never resolved before I left.
Overall, the location was phenomenal. It is so nice being able to walk anywhere on Main Street. I'd probably stay here again but would likely look for Airbnbs or other hotel availability close by first.
Very clean and cute place. Kitchen is very well equipped, just the range is old and slow. Strange setup with 1 of the rooms separated by bathroom by stairs. Not very good view. But comfortable and cozy. Great for a couple or couple kids.
Location was great because it was only one block to Main street. Property is rather run down and in disrepair. Our unit was lacking a lot of general maintenance to make it usable. Toilet didn't flush, shower didn't work well, shower curtain fell off in the middle of every shower because it had a cloth shower curtain that got soaked and heavy, most of the light bulbs were either burned out or missing, window screens were laying around inside the unit on the floor, most of the baseboard radiator covers had been knocked off and were just laying around on the floor. The place could be nice but not in the current condition because maintenance is needed badly.
The location is great. And, for the low cost of this unit, it was a good value.
It is very dated, (welcome to the 70’s), but otherwise well kept and clean.
we have stayed at the blue lodge church three times now and love it. the room upgrades are really wonderful. we love it. thank you.
Absolutely the worse rental ever. We couldn’t think of one positive thing to write for this review. We then walked to town and said, “Okay, we love the location….that’s it! That’s the one good thing we can say.” To say the unit accommodates 8 is a joke. Out of 4 beds, only 1 was somewhat comfortable. The pull-out sofa is ridiculous. Only 5 people can sit in the living room. Lounging is not at all comfortable. “Gourmet kitchen” is a laugh…it is so small that only 1 person can work in the space at a time. Coffee pot had to be taken apart and cleaned to get it to work. No wine/bottle opener, only dishes/cups/mugs for 4 people. If you plan on cooking…bring everything you need to cook. There is no heat except in space heaters. To reach anyone for help is impossible. Please read other reviews and don’t book until these folks learn that they need to accommodate their guests.
The selling point of this property is that it is in Park City!
It is on Park Avenue which is one block off of Main Street which is the street with all the bars, restaurants, and shops, but in order to get to Main Street you have to walk down a steep street or sidewalk. The street and sidewalk were both snow and ice covered and slippery. I'm sure this is the situation most of the winter. The building is old but has been updated but not to a degree that I would say that it is exceptional. It is acceptable. My unit was on floor two which was about 15 stairs down from the entry door. There is a defacto lobby that is about 10 stair up from the entry door. There is no desk attendant in the lobby. I had to check in and get my instructions from the sister property that is about two blocks away. This wasn't a big deal for me as I new where the place was, but it is inconvenient . Once through the front doors and down the stairs my unit was towards the front of the hallway. The hallway is old, narrow, and kind of dingy. My first impression of the unit was just the same, kind of dingy. The carpeting is worn and there is old base board heating that is not functional and makes the place look old. Also, the shutters on the windows and old and crocked. The stove was an old electric unit and the mattress on the bed was thin and very firm, either very old or cheap. The toilet flushed very slow and the shower took at least 5 minutes to get hot. Too much money for the quality.
Overall stay was comfortable. However, the main fire place did not work the first day until it was repaired the next day.
Found out that the laundry dryer was not working well after doing 4 cycles of the drying process causing us $7 and the clothes are still damp. Only noticed repairman came the next morning when we are ready to check out. We were granted a late check out which was a plus point.
Property was a disappointment. Overall condition is old and dated. Same for amenities. Window units in lieu of central air conditioning but units of poor quality and essentially useless in cooling property. Fans provided but did not work. Shower faucets were faulty and warm / hot water sporadic. Several electrical outlets not working. The list goes on. The positive - great location.
Great friendly staff, but there was no air conditioning in the unit, and the hot tub was too dirty to use. It has classic charm but hasn't had an update in a while - the location is perfect though and the staff is extremely helpful!
Staff was very accommodating. Liked that we basically had the entire place to ourselves. However every thermostat was set to 80°. Its the end of June. The mattresses are probably about 20 years old and we found pubic hair on the pool table! Aside from all that it is priced well and centrally located.
Great place, only complaint is I had to kill and remove 3 stink bugs during our 2 days.
Would've liked to have the apartment be clean. It was very very dusty and had a weird smell. The location and staff were very nice though.
We were scheduled to stay here for spring break. The resorts closed just days before we were scheduled to leave. The rental agency (Lespri Properties) contacted us immediately to let us know that we would have a credit for the amount paid to be used in the next 12 months. I found this accommodation to be very reasonable under the circumstances. While we are all disappointed to not be skiing, we can now look forward to spring skiing when all this is behind us...and it will be. Thank you
