The Lofts at Downtown Salem

The design of a separate living area, bedroom and bathroom allowing privacy and personal space. Very clean and quiet location in a downtown setting.

Second time staying and enjoy the location and the non-hotel like feel of the room and property. A great farmers market across the street on Saturdays is a bonus!

It was very nice and clean. The room was very clean and comfortable.

This was a convenient place to stay while I was in town for a funeral. I stayed in room 103. Three things that really bothered me about this first floor unit that I think others might need to know—
1) There is a VERY bright security light at the bank next door shining into the bedroom window that makes it like daylight in there, even with the blinds closed. I did have my sleep mask, but it was still kinda light in there. Some room darkening blinds would be a much-needed addition for a good night of sleep.
2) I had to wash the fabric shower curtain, as it was covered in that pink bacterial growth that you find in showers that aren’t cleaned often enough. Good thing there was a washer/dryer in the unit! It did come clean.
3) I was unaware that I’d be on a lower unit until after I booked. I could hear the person above me walking, sliding chairs, etc, late into the night. This, coupled with the bright light caused a not very good night of sleep!

My husband and I had a fantastic 2 day stay at The Lofts! I highly recommend this gem of a hotel. The communication with hotel staff was phenomenal. There are no hotel employees on staff during the evening so make sure you have all the codes and instructions for parking and entry to the building before your arrival.

Location is great. Quiet location.

Spacious, very well equipped and spotlessly clean (practically brand new). Washer/dryer in room. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea provided.

The entire process to check in to check out is easy and quick. We always choose to stay at the Lofts in our trips because we can bring our dogs, make a meal in the kitchen, and feel like we have a home away from home. It is a great spot to walk around to the brewery, coffee shop and enjoy the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. Great space. Highly recommend!!

We do miss the restaurant below and the bakery “our daily bread”
But Angels diner was a great find!

It was awesome. Very clean and great space. We were only there one night but quite spacious and super comfortable. I have no comments for improvement. We will definitely stay there again if in that area

Lots of amenities for such an intimate little apartment. Clean! Simple! Lovely! Many attractions and restaurants within 2 blocks. Wish I could live there!!!

Spacious rooms. Walk to all the downtown restaurants and shops. Very clean and will definitely stay again

Clean and convenient to all of the places we like to go.

Cute place, enter by passcode which was new to us. Hard to find from Main Street, and parking was a mystery at first. We weren’t really sure where to go even after we parked. Once we found the entrance and our room everything was fine. Would come again.
