We enjoyed our stay at Esikar Gardens. It's a nice facility, on the newer side, in a quiet location, a bit out of the hustle of the city. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable, and the shower hot -- so those are the major criteria!
My only negative comment would be that the shower area was quite moldy especially on the ceiling. Also in a room that size, you might normally expect a refrigerator.
But overall it was comfortable and pleasant. The reception staff is very nice. We had tea and samosas in the restaurant which was good; we didn't eat dinner there mainly because the place was mostly empty when we were there (on a Sunday evening) and so we didn't want to be the only ones dining. There was a pleasant restaurant, Arena, just down the road, which was quite lively and with good local food, and quite reasonable.
We would definitely stay there again, but they might want to be a bit more on top of the shower cleaning.
