Give this place a miss
Pros:

Warm & comfy bed

Cons:

Food was poor and cold. Would not recommend to stay here. Milk was sour, orange juice was cheapest you could get.
Place could do with a clean and strong smells are over powering.

Average
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as there was an issue with the booking due the booking app having technical issues.

It was evident, to see that the hotel had recently been bought over by new ownership and alot of change and updating is required to maintain a good level of returning customers.

The hotel is situated in a good location, parking available, restaurant and bar staff are genuinely lovely individuals at welcoming guests.

Cons:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as there was an issue with the booking due the booking app having technical issues.

It was evident, to see that the hotel had recently been bought over by new ownership and alot of change and updating is required to maintain a good level of returning customers.

The bedrooms, did have the necessities that were needed but basic and require updating.

My partner and I went to the restaurant for an evening meal which was not busy. A long wait for food to arrive, meat was over cooked and my partners burger was greasy.

In the morning I was trying to be positive about open minded about the meal. Sadly, it wasn't the case. The breakfast was cold, eggs and bacon were overcooked. Quality of products poor.

Avoid. Not worth the money.
Pros:

Young staff friendly and doing the best they could to field complaints.

Cons:

Dated & dirty. Daily room clean was restocking coffee & tea sachets. No clean towels, wet ones left on rail. Bed not made up. Room keys left exposed on front desk for anyone to pick up. Abysmal breakfast service. No buffet set out, only left over juice & bread from day before in fridge for guests to help themselves. No butter or milk. Choice of 2 cereals, no porridge although advertised. Had to go to kitchen to ask if there was anyone to serve breakfast. First morning waitress didn’t show, next morning no cook! Waited one hour on each of the mornings. Ordered poached eggs. Came cold and cooked to “bullets”, inedible (photo attached). Member of housekeeping stepped in on 3rd morning to cook breakfast. They didn’t have a manager to speak to. At check out on 3rd morning asked for manager and Raj came to speak to me. He told me he was in charge of 6 hotels for the group. Told him my experience. He told me to email him and he would offer part refund. I did so and to date no reply!
