Only two tiny negatives - pillows are a bit floppy and flat, and the vending machine wasn’t working so I couldn’t get any midnight snacks and had to order Deliveroo!

Staff inconsistent as we had 2 rooms booked separately but didn’t want to change rooms

Though considered a 4-star 'hotel', there was no regular cleaning, fresh towels or re-supply of simple things (tea bags, toilet paper). Despite there being a kitchen, strangely there was no microwave so food had to be heated up in the oven or on the stove.

Disappointed that room was not as advertised on booking.com. There are different types of studios and we were sold the smaller one without lounge area. The photo and description in booking was for the lounge area

atmosphere was that of a glorified youth hostel not a hotel. lobby consisted of a hipster work space. we were given the keys to a room that was a dark, scruffy dungeon. I thought i paid extra for outside space? there was outside space that was leave strewn (so not swept since winter) and had a huge weed growing in front of the locked, scuffed door, so no access. the room was so dark. the sofa was stained. the bed was squeezed into a dark corner and i would have wept if i had to stay in it. i went to reception to complain and the manager (in a tee-shirt - hostel vibe again) ) showed me another room. we were very tired and already late for a dinner date so i accepted this room. this room had a comfortable bed and air conditioning but again no access to outdoor space. no sofa, tv impossible to view from bed. limited equipment in kitchen - one wine glass? two forks? etc. squeezed in table for two behind obtrusive pillar. we had a conversation about walking barefoot on the floor as it wasn't that clean. the bathroom had mould on the grouting, disgusting old mould discoloration around the shower door, very little shampoo left in bottle. towels were never replenished. the room was never serviced during our three night stay. we paid a lot for this room and it was not worth it, i feel scammed. i read all the reviews of this "hotel" on trip advisor and saw the long list of complaints and the hotel's routine, generic reply. it's a dump that i won't engage with. my fear was for other travellers but there are so many complaints that they will be warned. i reserve my annoyance for you. where is your customer loyalty? how could you leave us in such a position as to have to sleep in this subpar hotel? I'd like a partial refund if you ever want to see my custom again. my daughter who is a student in london also used this account, but you won't see my money again unless you offer me more than you have to date.

I booked a 12-night stay, and unfortunately my experience was well below the standard I expected.

The main issue was a persistent sewage smell in the room, together with the constant sound of wastewater running through the bathroom pipework. This was noticeable throughout my stay and had significantly affected my comfort.

There were also several other problems:

* The fridge had an unpleasant stale smell, as though something had gone off inside.
* There was no sofa in the room, making it difficult to relax.
* The television was positioned at an angle that cannot be viewed comfortably from the bed. As there was no sofa, the only way to watch it properly was by sitting on a chair.
* The air conditioning was too weak and struggled to cool the room adequately.
* The bathroom showed signs of mould and poor cleaning. There was even a razor blade cap left on the shower floor when I arrived.
* The washing machine was not clean, containing cotton fibres and hair from previous guests.
* At approximately 6:00 a.m., the fire alarm sounded continuously for more than 20 minutes. It turned out to be a false alarm, but it caused a very unpleasant start to the day and disrupted everyone’s sleep.

For a stay of this length, I expected a much higher standard, and I hope these matters will be addressed for future guests.

It’d be great to have room service :)

The sink in the bathroom had a blocked drain

Værelserne er slidte og aircon larmer og er ikke så effektiv. Morgenmaden er okay. Gode glutenfri boller.

All a bit basic and not exactly cheap.

Ignored by staff. Cleanliness. Lack of housekeeping, room layout and decor.

Beds narrow for two normal sized people. Moving wakes up the other every time.

A full length mirror in the room would be good.
