the room was warm and convenient, staff very pleasant.
Pros:

Breakfast very basic but well cooked.

Cons:

it was a pity that the hotel was having flooring work in progress however i understood how difficult it is to get work done during the day. The workmen did stop the noise while i was having breakfast.

I had a lovely time and a comfortable night
Pros:

Picturesque location with lovely view on the river. Friendly professional helpful staff. Nice building with lots of warm character. Comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

Cons:

I really really loved the room. The staircase was quite steep. Fine for me, but probably not for everyone

Very comfortable bed and room. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bars timeless with a good pint of Adnams.
Pros:

Like an old slipper on the waterfront
Lovely ale

Cons:

The food was quite good as you would expect in a good pub.
Sadly the “seared” calves liver and bacon wasn’t.
It was cooked liked lambs liver with thick gloopy gravy. Good food spoiled
Breakfast was average
