The location with the view over the estuary was great.
Our en suite was very small especially if you are tall.
Breakfast very basic but well cooked.
it was a pity that the hotel was having flooring work in progress however i understood how difficult it is to get work done during the day. The workmen did stop the noise while i was having breakfast.
Picturesque location with lovely view on the river. Friendly professional helpful staff. Nice building with lots of warm character. Comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
I really really loved the room. The staircase was quite steep. Fine for me, but probably not for everyone
Perfect breakfast, but made more perfect because of the wonderful staff.
There was nothing that I didn’t like.
Lovely big room with great views.
Breakfast was very good, and staff very friendly and helpful
friendly staff, waterfront location . comfy bed .
expensive for small old rooms , about 6am could hear the staff in kitchen chatting as our window was open .
Great traditional good old country inn, the food was excellent, the staff were wonderful, the location is just worth the visit in itself. The view over the river from the room in early morning stunning. I highly recommend it.
Excellent place in autentic England. Beatifull people.
Location
Not much.
Great hotel! The staff were excellent and the room was comfy and clean. The location is lovely and a very convenient walk to the train station. Breakfast was delicious! A great stay overall.
Like an old slipper on the waterfront
Lovely ale
The food was quite good as you would expect in a good pub.
Sadly the “seared” calves liver and bacon wasn’t.
It was cooked liked lambs liver with thick gloopy gravy. Good food spoiled
Breakfast was average
Superb hotel. Clean and cosy room and comfy beds.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Stunning views over the estuary. Gorgeous food - best breakfast I have had in ages.
Nothing - absolutely lovely stay.
Great place, staff and accessibility.
The room didn't have furniture for clothes, needed hooks to hang clothes as a minimum.
The beds were heavenly and my husband had the English breakfast which he said were great.
Nothing - apart from the seagulls waking us up!
