Ich habe ja auf meinen Reisen schon viel erlebt, aber das ich wenn ich was trinken möchte, erst 5 km zur nächsten Tankstell fahren muss war für mich neu. Als ich ankam war das Hotel geschlossen. Vor der Eingangstor ein Korb mit Zimmerschlüsseln und an der Tür hing ein Zettel mit Namen und der Zimmernr. Auch wenn der Chef wohl ein paar Tage vorher ins Krankenhaus musste ( gute Besserung) kann man das bestimmt anders lösen. Sonst hat man wohl den falschen Beruf. Erst am nächsten Morgen zum Frühstück war wieder ein Mutarbeiter im Haus. Das war nicht nur ein schlechter Service, sonder garten Service. Zumal das bei über 30 Grad es am Vortag nicht mal was zu trinken gab. Ich kann nur jedem raten, dieses Hotel zu meiden, denn es verdient nicht diesen Namen. Zumal die Sauberkeit in diesem Haus zu wünschen übriges. Besonders schmutzig war die Ablaufrinne in der Dusche. Total veerkalkt und versifft. Nie wieder dieses Hotel.

Pros:

Frühstück gut, allerdings war das Hotel ohne Rezeption. Zimmerschlüssel in einer Holzbox an der Tür. Namenszuordnung zum Schlüssel öffentlich durch eine Liste. Restaurant während es Aufenhalts ständig wegen Krankheit geschlossen.

Ein gutes Hotel in schöner Lage um Ausflüge mit dem Rad zu unternehmen
Pros:

Gute Zimmer die zweckmäßig eingerichtet sind. Bedienung sehr freundlich, leider konnten wir die Gastronomie nicht testen da wegen Krankheit das Restaurant geschlossen war. Frühstück war ausreichend und dazu wählbar frisch zubereitetes Spiegelei oder Rührei

Einfaches Landhotel mit guter Küche!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut, das Restaurant sehr gut. Die lage am Fuße des Staffelberg. Personal freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Zimmer bieten wenig Kompfort. Einfach und zweckmäßig ohne Balkon.

Dog-friendly, quiet & spacious room. Bring own fan on hot day
Pros:

The typical country-style room was spacious with comfortable bed, seating area & modern bathroom. Quiet location with nice walking routes for dogs within 50yds, walking around village is pretty safe too. Non-buffet breakfast was standard but plentiful. Homemade jam was a nice touch. Dinner was very good. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The fact that there was no fan in the room was my reason for the poor review. Everything else was nice. The hot room where my dogs lay on the floor for hours panting and I only got a few hours sleep as a result was inexcusable. This was both a business and personal trip and driving tired for hours the next day really wasn't what I needed.
Having worked in at a historic boutique hotel, I can say - you don't necessarily need an iron or hairdryer in every room, but not having a fan (or AC) is a no-no when you live in this climate. I spent an hour in town looking for a fan and driving around in the car with the AC on to keep the dogs cool because of the lack of planning on staff's behalf - disappointing...
