Was mir gefallen hat, ist die zentrale Lage des Hotels in Kelkheim. Auch das Zimmer war relativ sauber und ordentlich.

Cons:

Bereits vor Ort habe ich nach dem Frühstück gefragt, dennoch war dieses an beiden Tagen meines Aufenthalts – Samstag, den 19. Juli, und Sonntag, den 20. Juli – leider nicht verfügbar. Das Frühstück fiel vollständig aus, was besonders enttäuschend war.

Da ich mit meinen Kindern gereist bin, sah ich mich gezwungen, ihnen für die restlichen Tage zu empfehlen, außerhalb frühstücken zu gehen.

Am Sonntag habe ich zusätzlich telefonisch nach dem Grund für den Ausfall gefragt. Die einzige Auskunft war: „Leider gibt es heute kein Frühstück.“ Eine weitere Erklärung wurde nicht gegeben.

Darüber hinaus war die Badewanne im Zimmer nahezu verstopft, sodass das Wasser nur sehr langsam ablief.

Ich bitte Sie um eine Stellungnahme zu den genannten Mängeln und hoffe, dass in Zukunft auf solche Punkte mehr geachtet wird.

Not as fancy as it looks - dirty, tiny, and depressing.
Pros:

Decent location, good public transport and shopping opportunities, restaurants and a bakery very close by.

The only thing about the room that looked clean and modern was the shower, despite being quite claustrophobic (I'm already small so don't want to imagine someone slightly bigger trying to have a shower).

Cons:

It was okay as a place to sleep near Frankfurt city but for the price I had expected something better. This is supposed to be a hotel, but I've been to youth hostels with a higher standard of cleanliness and service in other big cities.

I spent 3 nights without opening a window because there were colonies of strange insects living in the windowframes. The room was still full of mosquitoes and spiders and god knows what else, I came home with so many bites. The previous guest's half empty toilet roll had been left in the bathroom with only one spare roll... And the mysterious red stains on the walls, the plastic bed sheets, and the bin bags in the hallway didn't exactly elevate my comfort.

The lift only goes up to the 3rd floor (there are 4) and is so small that you can barely fit in with a suitcase. Who knows if the emergency button works because there's not even a display in there. The telephone/radio in the room looks like it's from the 60s (actually just been left there since the 60s, not retro/refurbished) so I didn't have much hope for the lift and preferred the stairs all the way.

The fact that you have to find the hotel's phone number online and call them to even be let in was a bad sign already. They seemed surprised to have a guest, and several minutes later a woman in sports clothes came down to greet me in broken English (good thing I speak English... in Germany). She gave me a key and then left me to fend for myself.
At checkout, no one even answered the phone anymore, so I threw my key in the box and left.

Not having a reception is really inconvenient if you need things like spare toilet roll, towels, extra bin bags etc. or have questions. I wasn't made to feel welcome or like there was anyone I could talk to if I needed help.
Although this may be my fault since I chose not to use the room service at all, due to a lack of trust in this establishment.

I would choose another hotel if I were to go back here.

Hotel in zentraler Lage von Kelkheim welches Luft nach oben hat
Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas heruntergekommen, ich habe das Früstück nicht gewählt, weil gegenüber eine sehr gute Bäckerei ist. Ich hatte nun das 2. Mal das gleiche Zimmer mit einem sehr verdreckten und kleinem Badezimmer, das Bett ist ausgelegen und das Hotel benötigt dringend einen update. Während meines Aufenthalts habe ich niemanden an der Rezeption oder so angetroffen.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal und ein sauberes Zimmer für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Für den verhältnismäßig günstigen Preis ist die Ausstattung vollkommen in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für den Preis und einen kurzen Aufenthalt wirklich total in Ordnung. Das Zimmer entspricht den Bildern.
