OYO Gran Canaria Hotel

Harde muziek tot diep in de nacht, heel gehorig, kapotte meubels op de kamers, erg verouderd. Veel te duur voor wat het was.

There was a hooded man sitting in reception both times I popped in during the day which was a bit odd. I booked a double room and was initially shown to a single. The owner who was very friendly then took me to another room that was a double and then explained at length about closing the shower door whilst standing in the bath Matt in his shoes. Whilst the bathroom was clean the bedroom floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned, hair bands on floor and rubbish behind bedside cabinet. On using the toilet (in the morning) it was clearly partly blocked and rising worryingly high.
On going to bed in the evening my neighbour guest was playing loud rap music and there was a strong smell of weed coming into my room. The bathroom walls are VERY thin, I could hear my neighbour. The room had no phone or instructions on how to ring the owner and reception was closed when I went up. I didn’t feel particularly safe and there was no chain for extra security.
I was provided with 2 small bottles of water to make tea, a spoon would have been helpful 😂
Restaurant was shut so no breakfast available.
On leaving I bumped into a lady who shared that she was living there until the council could rehome her so the hotel is clearly a refuge of some sort. Reception was closed when I left so I couldn’t inform the owner of any of the above.

Quite unclean… very dated.
No TV working. Lights not working. Old windows and doors.
It’s not really worthy of a 3 star.
Smell of drugs outside!

The rooms you could hear the guest clearly next door man and women fighting as they were drunk and banging doors all night none of us slept and we had 5hrs to drive the next morning leaving at 5am with two disabled children

L'alarme nocture de 3h à 5h du matin.
Le sommier du lit qui est seulement une planche de bois.
La vieillesse des matelas.
Les fenêtres qui sifflaient avec le car les verrous sont vieillissants.

The car park did feel a bit unsecure however I could see my car from the room.

You do hear everything especially if guests just let the door bang.

Das Hotel ist schon recht in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer hatte Teppichboden, Fenster, die sich nicht öffnen ließen und es war lange ziemlich laut.

The hotel was fully booked. Refuse cancellation. Çan get my money back. Not asistence from booking.com. don't go here and don't use booking.com
