Great, lower budget hotel.
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Doorz. It is a good, low budget hotel. The location was fabulous and on the water front, and we had easy access to the heart of the town on foot. We had an amazing view from our window over the water. Walking distance to warungs, fast food and coffee unlike more expensive hotels up the hill. Whilst I agree with previous reviews that linen was stained, it was obviously clean and freshly laundered, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had hot water, and the aircon worked well. Would definitely choose again.

Bon ensemble, chambre propre avec fenêtre et prises. Petit déjeuner Indonésien possible (45000 rp). Restaurants à proximité

Cons:

Eau froide, pas de drap, proche des mosquées (réveil à 4h).

Le strict nécessaire parfait pour dormir juste avant d’aller sur les îles Banggai
Pros:

La proximité avec le port de départ des ferrys pour les Banggai.

Cons:

Chambre sans fenêtres, draps propres mais tachés et un peu de bruit la nuit par les gens de l’accueil.

Pros:

The bed is comfortable, airconditioning works and the toilet is ok

Cons:

Incredibly lazy receptionist welcoming guests while burping and not doing any effort to help. Not a single word of english spoken nor the willing to use the translator. We tried to ask for scooter rent but he only shaked his head to say no. Completely useless. We also texted before arriving to ask for the early check in but didn't even reply.
The room is very basic, not even a window. Walls are cracked and furnitures in bad conditions that we could not even put the backpack on the table.
Linen had spots here and there even if on the front sign they wrote "spotless linen".
Wifi does not work in the room but only in the hall. Breakfast is bread slices, with chocolate aside.
At 6.30am the staff started to listen loud rock music and to chat very noisy so it was impossible to sleep.
There are surely better choices for the same pice, I would not value this accomodation over 10€ per night for a double room.
