Golden Lotus Hotel Da Nang

The room was good, bed was comfortable, A/C worked well.

The buffet breakfast was super disappointing this time. It was full of cheap,empty carbs and, super spicy Korean foods. Stir fried spicy squid is not what I had in mind for breakfast.

Also, I don't think it's appropriate for a 4 star hotel to allow guests to wear BIKINI tops into the restaurant. I don't want to see beach wear when I am dining in a nice hotel. A dress code would be appropriate.

We stayed 15 nights in this hotel which is in the middle of Danang, close to the beach. There is a lot of construction work and shops and restaurants in the area, so its not the place of you want something quiet. We enjoyed it and found it to be an exciting, bustling area. The room was comfortable, service superb, breakbuffet good. Pool is quite small, but on a nice roof terrace with great views. Highly recommended!

The friendly staff. It was very noisy and lots of construction going on. The supervisor was so nice to change our rooms which l thought l was getting. The rooms were beautiful. The girls that worked there were lovely. The breakfast bar was not very good at all.

Staff were ok, room was a bit small, bathroom was ok and as for the balcony the door to the balcony opened about six inches and hit the railings, unable to get through the gap to even stand on the balcony. There was a good choice of food at breakfast but unfortunately most mornings the hot food was either cold or warm at best on around six or seven occasions I ask a member of staff to heat my food in the microwave. All in all it’s a decent hotel but I’m not sure if I would stay here again

Hotel states it is wheelchair accessible with limitations. Hotel was not wheelchair accessible and the limitations were extensive. Breakfast was on the 7th floor and the lift went to 6th floor. I could not use my mobility scooter in the lift as general manager stated it was too dangerous with my lithium battery. I had to checkout 3 days early and lost 1 nights payment. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Wonderful breakfast. Very nice pool with food and drinks are very reasonable prices. Huge TV bed was just right not too hard.

Hotel was mostly good. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. Other parts of the hotel were a bit run down. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, some of them were very curt and dismissive. The area around the hotel was a disaster area. Literally, heavy construction on all sides, made it hard to walk to/from the hotel because of all the construction and stuff piled in the streets. The construction also meant it was very noisy all the time, and the walls are quite thin.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help, there was an afternoon tea special event for Reunification day which was fun to be a part off, but also the snacks were yum too! The room was on the smaller side but it’s all we needed for the night and the beds were very comfortable!

Good location but a lot of construction going on. Front desk reception was not the best and rooms were very small.

Friendly and attentive staff. It is a shame that the pool was not heated. It is small enough to do so. Loved our stay in DaNang.

ホテルスタッフは常に笑顔で親切に接してくださいました。レストラン予約、観光地に関する質問にもとても丁寧に対応していただき有り難かったです。ビーチへも近く、周辺にコンビニやカフェも多く便利でした。ただ、プールや部屋からの眺望は写真ほど綺麗ではありませんでした。それを考慮したとしても、スタッフの質とコスパから、またダナンは行くときは利用したいと思えるホテルです。

Hotel Review: Not Recommended

I checked out a day earlier than planned because my experience at Golden Lotus Hotel was disappointing. While the room looked similar to the photos, the quality was nowhere near what was advertised.

Negatives:
• Delayed airport pick-up – not a great start.
• Key charge – if you lose the key, you have to pay extra, which feels unreasonable.
• Shower issues – poor water pressure and broken fixtures.
• Breakfast & Service – very poor quality, both in terms of food and staff attitude. Service was slow and unprofessional.
• Misleading Reviews – I have no idea how this hotel has received so many 5-star ratings.

Positives:
• The room was spacious and clean.
• The internet was fast.

One important note: There are two hotels nearby with similar names – Golden Lotus (this one) and Golden Lotus Luxury (which might be better). Despite the positives, I just didn’t feel comfortable, mainly due to the poor service at breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend staying here
