Breakfast would have been appreciated, daily as described. Service was slow, I was a lone guest, and was told for that reason they would not be putting breakfast out.
The host and just coziness of the property.
Large, quiet room (number 10). Secure. Pleasant pool. Elevated sitting areas. Very convenient for sea-plane port and Centerline car rental. Not far from the boardwalk or the central streets. Fresh fruit for breakfast. Easy street parking.
Tired outdoor furniture / cushions in raised seating areas. Approaches to the hotel at night maybe uneasy for an unaccompanied woman - my wife said she wouldn’t want to walk it alone after dark - although all the locals we met were courteous and friendly.

I booked a reservation at Sugar Apple B&B with the expectation that manager and staff would offer 'insider information' about St. Croix, as well as continental breakfast. However, communication was only by text and, because I was the only guest, no morning meal was available. [The manager did provide healthy packaged snacks in my room.] Also, housekeeping services were only provided upon request, with 24 hour notice. Had I known, I would have booked a room in a hotel with staffed reception and housekeeping services.

Pros: The property has a lot of potential and is located within walking distance to the Fort, boardwalk and several restaurants. There is a 5ft pool available. The room had a sink, a refrigerator, a couple of dishes and utensils and a kettle.
Cons: The room I stayed in could use a deep cleaning. There was a build up of dust in many areas which triggered my allergies…particularly the fans and curtain area behind the beds. I also made a reservation for four people but the room had towels for two. Had to text on a couple occasions for more towels which caused a delay in my plans. I can’t speak on the breakfast as the one time I sought to partake, I was told since no one came the day prior, the decision was made not to provide breakfast that day. There aren’t any complimentary toiletries, coffee/tea or even a blow dryer. There was a shampoo and conditioner dispenser attached to the wall in the shower.
Sugar Apple BNB was an amazing stay. I will definitely be back! The morning breakfast was great and the hostess was so very friendly.

Simple , vegan, and satisfying.
Large room, good location.
Disappointed not to have access to the pool as this was one of the main reasons for choosing this property, and no offer of small reimbursement for lack of this amenity. Breakfast time was suppose to be from 8am but unfortunately was never on time.
