Fabulous
Pros:

Lovely and welcoming, clean and comfortable. We booked 3 rooms at the last minute and we were welcomed by a lovely receptionist, who from start to finish was fabulous. Very polite and helpful which really did make a difference. We enjoyed the breakfast too which had lots of options. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

Trip to birmingham
Pros:

Nice place, great location helpfull staff, great breakfast. Close to centre surounded by universities (if thats what your after)

Cons:

Parking around the corner, no where to drop bags off, car park next door is private and camera controlled so glad i didnt gwt a ticket!

Trip met vrienden, flexiebel hotel. Wilde last moment nog een extra kamer. Dit werd makkelijk geregeld. Ontbijt was prima we kwamen in de eetzaal en ze wisten precies welke kamer we zaten! Goede service.

Will definitely stay again in this modern comfortable & friendly hotel.
Pros:

Aloft is a very nice hotel, with modern decor, friendly staff, nice bright rooms with comfy beds. The breakfast was very good too. And a quiet, peaceful location.

Cons:

Only negative was parking in local car park ended up costing quite a bit but at least was easy.

Pros:

I did not like anything about my stay, it was absolutely terrible, air conditioning was not working, hotel staff told us that we had to pay for breakfast, even though we booked room and breakfast, hotel manager said that we would need to contact Booking.com as it did not show up on their screen. Thus was meant to be the happiest weekend as my nephew was getting married, turn out to be the worst stay ever in any hotel I stayed in

Room, service, air conditioning not working, very damp smelling room, manager not helpful at all, after complaining for nearly the whole day a different shift manager agreed to change rooms for us, will definitely not be booking with this hotel ever again, was told to pay for breakfast eventhough we paid for room and breakfast

Nearly perfect, amazing price, fantastic food
Pros:

Great food, great staff, a very good event venue, close enough to everything to be easy to get to, and far enough from the city centre to enjoy fresh air and no noise :)

Cons:

Non-existent Wi-Fi for all 3 nights.
