It could’ve been a lot better
Pros:

Like the location of the property closer to the pier

Cons:

It was soooo loud at night you hear loud club music all the way till 4 am

4-night Stay over Thanksgiving Holiday
Pros:

The close location to the Frederiksted Pier and restaurants were a plus. The staff we did come in contact with were very friendly and helpful. I loved the patio on the second floor, it was private and comfortable. We ate dinner there on Friday night, and on Saturday evening after going down to the bar and having a drink, we went back to the patio and enjoyed the karaoke.

Cons:

Since we were on the second floor, hearing heavy footsteps back and forth above me, and loud music and singing coming from adjoining room. Not a pet person, but at least all dogs were either on a tight leash (1 or 2), or in their owner's arms (3 or 4). Still wasn't comfortable being in such close proximity.

Beautiful stay in Frederiksted
Pros:

Gorgeous, spacious rooms. Meticulously clean. Awesome location in the heart of town. Lovely views from the top floor. Fun bar. Kids loved the small swimming pool. Wonderful and accommodating staff.

Cons:

The steps to the top are a little much if you’ve got lots of bags and a baby, but the room was worth it!

Pros:

We stayed in coral room which is in a courtyard very safe with digital locks for room and courtyard at night! Turquoise blue shallow water right across the street for snorkeling/swimming. On site restaurant and bar was great and other dining options in any direction walkable. Plenty of local history and the people you meet are super friendly!

Great stay
Pros:

Customer service was awesome! We loved the Ruff Start bar on property, small but clean and perfect for our needs pool, and wonderful staff. We went scuba diving most days and the dive shops are all a 2 minute walk from the Victoria. We stayed on the ocean view side with balcony to watch sunsets. Spacious rooms, everything you need; nothing super fancy but we aren't fancy people. Go!

Pros:

Traveled with my mom. First room we were placed in had mice droppings all through the room. On the bed, the couch, the ceiling ledges, the window ledges, everywhere. I contacted the property owner about it & he was in denial that it was mice droppings. He was convinced it was the crumbles from the cement walls. We all know what mice droppings look like. He did place us in a room upstairs that was much better. Very dusty though. There wasn’t very many food places to eat at or gift shops. Taxis are also CASH ONLY. The one restaurant they had was only opened from 6pm to 9pm. Overall, I would rate the place 4 out of 10.

Pros:

We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided.

We enjoyed hanging out at Ruff Night bar on premises and getting to know the locals. Everyone is sooo friendly! Even Victor the orange bar kitty who hangs out.

There are several restaurants in the immediate walking area that were good.

I would absolutely return to VH and recommend anyone to stay there.

Our stay at Victoria House was Excellent. We chose the starfish apartment which had its own entrance in the front, with beautiful views of the waterfront. The manager was super supportive and accommodating when they realized one of the bathrooms was not working. He reached out before I landed on the island and gave my family and I an extra adjoining room to accommodate for the missing bathroom. The rooms were all beautiful, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. The rooms all had ACs and fans available to combat any humidity. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and glowed about our accommodations to our family on island. We are looking forward to coming again during our next visit to our beautiful island. Thank you to the Victoria House team for everything !

/We had a great stay at Victoria house. The property was clean and right next to the beach where there is turtle watching and snorkeling. Plenty of places to get food and right next to the center of arts. The town is quaint but with a 20 minute drive to anything you may want to do. The bar next to it gets pretty loud but closes early. We would stay here again. for price, location and overall experience.

Our stay was awesome on this truly amazing island and the areas reachable from the hotel by foot. The hotel was beautiful, clean and well organized. Our stay would have be perfect, if it was a little less noisy and the bed was less soft.
