A bit run down. Alot of nasty stains on the hall carpet. Double glazing would help with the noise from the street.

Windows were very dirty and the windows and room corners had spider webs. Light switches were very dirty
When studios on king finally agreed to refund me after stuffing me around and very bad service with no help at by guy on phone and I think was falling asleep and make kind of weird snoring sounds and not answering questions and could not figure out how send me codes to get in the front gate!
Took hours of phone calls and I ended up nowhere to stay that night. Unsatisfactory service.
Lucky booking .com were veryy helpful and polite and eventually got my refund.

Rooms disgusting, tv didn’t work, not even a coat hanger , nothing like advertised more like a cheap backpackers very disappointing I wouldn’t let my dog stay there absolute disgrace for $178 per night should be ashamed of themselves. False advertising at its best. We paid to stay elsewhere and refund denied.

Location, easy to book, simple layout
Ive stayed here several times. There is always something broken, a tap, a door a shower. Nothing big, but just a bit shoddy.
Also the carpets are all stained which really brings down the calibre of the place. Which is a shame as its perfectly ok otherwise,
It is a very old building, mould everywhere and there’s a lot of cockroaches in the building, it has a foul smell and some of the facilities don’t work
The location was great.
The entrance is very difficult to find at night as the sign, entrance door and keypad are all unlit. The advertised kitchen facilities were unclean, on a different floor to the room and poorly equipped, without even a toaster.
