Oasis Bacalar is one of those places that really goes above and beyond. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. To start off with I had great communication from the team before I even arrived via WhatsApp and they send you a great PDF of recommendations for how to spend your time in Bacalar. The hotel itself is lovely with the pool and all the beautiful greenery around it. The location is great very close to the lagoon and the Ecology Park which is a really beautiful place to swim and sunbathe. Many nice restaurants and cafes nearby.
Staff were always very polite and friendly. Karla helped me organise a boat trip on the lagoon and organised a driver to take me to visit the ruins at Ichkabel, which I really appreciated. I had the small single room, but was perfect for me and my needs. I loved the addition of the nice coffee machine, the barrel of drinking water and the mini fridge. I would not hesitate to recommend oasis Bacalar. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great hotel, amazing staff and beautiful Bacalar!
Pros:

I had a great stay at this hotel.

It is located about 18 minutes walk from the ADO bus station, however you also have options for taxis at about 50-70 MXN, which I chose as it was very hot when I got there. There is no uber in Bacalar but there is a WhatsApp number you can get text and get a taxi quite quickly. Reception can also help you calling one.

I was in the small suite (Colibri), which was small but had everything I needed, included a coffee machine, glasses, mugs, fridge, ceiling fan, AC, hair dryer and shampoo. The bed was very comfortable.

The common area is very green and relaxing, with a swimming pool.

The staff was great, every single one of them was so polite, kind and helpful.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main square, with options for restaurants.

Bacalar is a wonderful and quite place, and staying at this hotel made my stay even more special.

I totally recommend this place!

L’hôtel est magnifique, le coin piscine est très intimiste et dans un cadre magnifique (fleuri de partout), la chambre a tout ce qu’il faut et une très belle vue (+ hamac). Le petit déjeuner est parfait et convient à tous les goûts. L’emplacement est parfait (tout peut se faire pied car c’est en plein cœur du centre). Parking gratuit si besoin. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Velký apartmán (Tapir suite) v lokaci u centra ale zároveň v klidné části. Veřejná pláž 5 min chůze. V okolí plno kaváren a restaurací. Velmi milý a ochotný personál.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage mit leckerem Frühstück
Pros:

Besonders hat uns die Lage des Hotels gefallen. Von hier aus war man innerhalb weniger Minuten im Zentrum des Geschehens. Zudem war das Frühstück sehr lecker und ein kleines Highlight. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hilfsbereite und sympathische Mitarbeiter Gabriel gewesen, welcher uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung stand. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Cons:

Wir hatten Ameisen im Zimmer. Haben uns allerdings nicht sonderlich gestört.

Cons:

There is a bar down the road that plays music very loudly until after midnight. It was fine for me, but my wife found it disconcerting. (The hotel supplies ear plugs, which some would find to be a blessing)!!

Hôtel le plus agréable de notre séjour au Quintana Roo
Pros:

- Très bien situé : à 10min de marche de l’accès baignade au lac, 10min des loueurs de kayak, 10min des restaurants.
- Parking gratuit disponible juste à côté de l’hôtel.
- Décoration sublime à l’accueil, dans la salle de petit déjeuner et agréable rooftop avec vue sur le lac.
- Petit déjeuner excellent et très copieux avec des choix variés (œufs, jambon, gaufres, fruits, yaourt …)
- Nous avons donné un sac de linge pour l’équivalent de 7-8€ qui a été soigneusement lavé en 24h.
- Écrans anti-insectes présents aux fenêtres bien que nous ayons eut très peu de moustiques.
- Toutes les chambres ont un balcon qui donne sur le lac.
- Rapport qualité prix absolument imbattable.

Cons:

- L’hôtel est voisin d’un terrain vague avec des cabanes en taule habitées par une dame avec 2-3 chiens enchaînés qui peuvent aboyer pendant des heures au milieu du jour et de la nuit… et les boulequies ne suffisent pas toujours.
- En soirée on entend la musique d’une auberge de jeunesse proche mais beaucoup moins gênant que les aboiements.
- Le petit déjeuner est servi à partir de 8h mais la salle étant petite, dès 8h15 vous n’avez plus de place, il faut attendre que d’autres clients aient fini.
- L’hôtel propose une réduction significative (30€ dans notre cas) si l’on paie en espèce mais il est extrêmement compliqué de trouver un DAB à Bacalar qui ne prennent pas de frais exorbitants.

We had a wonderful 8-day stay at Hotel & Suites Oasis Bacalar and overall were very satisfied with our experience.
Pros:

Our apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is great – just a short walk to the lagoon – and the pool was perfect for cooling off and spending some quiet time during the day.

Even before our arrival, communication with the accommodation was excellent, especially with the manager Esteban, who was very helpful and responsive. During our stay, the entire staff made us feel very welcome. A special thanks goes to Carla and Mario, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.

Overall, we had a lovely time in Bacalar and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly, well-located stay with a great atmosphere and caring staff.

Cons:

The only small downsides were some noise coming from a nearby venue at times and a few doors that tended to creak. It didn’t significantly affect our stay, but it might be helpful for future guests to know.

Le Petit soucis c'est que cet hôtel est près du centre du coup il y a pas mal de bruit, mais on peut pas tout avoir non plus
