Pros:

The rooms are nice and spacious

Cons:

The central concierge - they are hopeless, went to the lobby and asked a Japanese gentleman at the desk to help get a restaurant booking at the Fuwari which he did but these people at central concierge sent an email which was ambiguous and that they could not. Other occasions also where they just weren’t helpful.

Great hotel, can’t say the same for the other guests
Pros:

This hotel has a lot going for it, which is, unfortunately also its achilles heel. It’s right next to the central train station, it’s bursting at the seams with really cool art, they do a hell of an afternoon tea service, and their bartender makes a great Negroni. the rooms are quite lovely as well.

All that said, I don’t know that I want to return to this hotel for a while simply because it’s very popular with budget tour groups and badly behaved foreigners. This is not a calm or relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was a nightmare pretty much every day of our stay, no matter what time we went down. One morning, I couldn’t resist vocally shaming a woman who was loudly face-timing with a friend and describing all of the food in the buffet. Another morning, someone grabbed the entire whole wheat baguette at the toast area, cut it in half, ripped out all of the inner bread
and left it on the cutting board, then took the baguette away to eat. Don’t get me started on the parents who brought their kids down with a handful of toys and then proceeded to ignore them and stare at their phones while they squealed endlessly.

If you wish to spend each morning observing your fellow travelers at their worst, I highly recommend a visit. It really is a beautiful hotel inside and the staff are as kind and helpful as they can be under the circumstances.

It was in a convenient location for us. It’s modern big hotel, really nice but lots of larger groups so felt a bit like a conveyor belt and not much personal attention on arrival

Great location, excellent service, and classy hotel!
Pros:

The service you can expect at this Hyatt Centric is beyond your typical Hyatt hospitality. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a convenient and classy stay in Kanazawa. The location is central to Kanazawa station and is true to its Centric namesake. The hotel was clean, has great atmosphere and vibe in the lounge, and has great sound proofing. The shower and bath were also a good size and taking a bath after a long day of exploration is unbeatable.

Having the price in mind overall just average...
Pros:

We spent one night at the Hyatt Centric, as a short detour from the usual Tokyo–Kyoto–Osaka route. Its location right by Kanazawa Station is excellent, making it easy to get around, interestingly mostly by bus, to pretty much anywhere.

The hotel itself is very much what you’d expect from Hyatt: stylish and modern, with the reception located on an upper floor rather than at street level. During our stay, there were quite a few American guests.
Our booked superior room felt huge compared to the other hotels we had stayed in, spacious, beautifully designed, very clean, and with extremely comfortable beds.

Breakfast, however, was a different story. The quality of the food itself was good, but the space was far too small for the size of tje hotel and/or number of guests. Additionally there simply weren’t enough staff, and by 7:00 a.m., there were already no seats available.

Queues formed not just for tables, but even at the food stations. It felt crowded and chaotic, which took away from the overall experience. And please don’t express that there are signs for the expected occupation level in the restaurant. Which were, positively said, underestimating the situation. And not nice when (any table) service and cuttlery is missing almost the entire time at the restaurant... Especially since breakfast is an important start to the day for us.

If you’re willing to skip breakfast, staying here still makes sense. But considering the price, this was a noticeable drawback for us. We’ve had much better breakfast experiences at other Hyatt (Centric) properties in the world

All in all, a mixed experience. Next time, we would probably book it again, because of the location but not for the breakfast...

Tolle Stadt in tollem Hotel

Super Lage direkt am Bahnhof
Zack raus und rein, mal eine schnelle Anreise.
Ungewohnt war der Aufzug in L3 , dann Check in und dann neuer Aufzug auf die Zimmer.
Großes Hotel für viele Gruppen , Frühstück kurze Wartezeit, alles an Auswahl - japanisch oder europäisch . Kaffee kann man bestellen - der aus dem Pott ist nicht so meiner.
Zimmer perfekt , Betten bequem , Zimmer am Aufzug etwas laut , ständig dieser Gong auch in der Nacht .

Cons:

USB-C Anschluss fehlt . Schade

Als Ausgangspunkt für Touren ab Kanawa perfekt geeignet. Praktisch ohne Atmosphäre.
Pros:

Gutes Hotel, weil direkt am Bahnhof und damit bestens geeignet als Ausgangspunkt. Die Lobby ist ehrlich gesagt wühlig und von Reisegruppen bevölkert. Hat keine Atmosphäre, Service, sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist befriedigend. Außer Kiwi und Ananas und Orangenscheiben, keine frischen Früchte. Die Bar im obersten Stock ist sehr zu empfehlen und macht sehr gute Drinks. Das Zimmer mit dem Blick auf den Parkplatz war absolut sehr ansprechend.

Cons:

Frühstück befriedigend zu wenig unterschiedliche frische Früchte. Orangensaft aus der Konserve. Unatmosphärische,wühlige Lobby.
