Clean, spacious, very comfy.

I had read other reviews of this hotel and was a little concerned at how busy it would be. On arrival we were met with an extremely busy and almost chaotic reception area and my heart sunk, I immediately had visions of what breakfast would be like and as I had booked a package described as "breakfast and more" which had a very confusing description I can only say I was not feeling confident! There is no reception desk as such in the conventional term, it is more a couple of very high tables with staff just sort of around the place. There was a huge amount of luggage amongst which I noticed ours that had been forwarded from our previous hotel, every other hotel that had received our luggage had already taken it to the room prior to our arrival. We were checked in and given a piece of paper that described what the "and more" was but also asked to notify the staff that we had this deal on entry to Five lounge, given our room key and assured that our luggage would be sent up soon (it was). We had a King Suite with City View. It was spacious and comfortable with some very eclectic artworks. The bathroom was good and big bonus, we had two toilets! We were able to stream to the tv's in the room from our tablets enabling us to watch sport etc that we follow at home, another bonus as some of our other hotels did not have this function. After settling into our room we decided to go and see how the "and more" deal worked. I have posted a photo of the paper I was given with the description of what "and more" is. It is extremely generous and if they have that deal when you book I would highly recommend it. The restaurant is very loosely divided into two areas, one they refer to as the lounge, which is where the refreshment and cocktail hour included in our package is served and then the actual restaurant area where the breakfast buffet is served. Needless to say we attended the Five lounge every evening and on a couple of occasions the food served was enough for me and I did not need dinner. You can also order from the menu (paid) and the hamburgers are extremely good. The staff in Five were excellent, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was also very good, busy, but well controlled and we were always shown to a table almost straight away. The food was excellent. This is a hotel that has tour groups stay at it and I believe that is what caused the initial chaos we encountered when we arrived. The reception also has a separate desk for an external company to forward your luggage to your next hotel, I believe it is only attended by staff in the morning. The location of the hotel is great being adjacent to the station. This is an expensive hotel and I believe for the price the reception should be sorted out, it gives a very poor impression on arrival and leads to a lot of guests standing around which impedes access to the lifts and general flow through the reception area. I would stay at this hotel again expecially if I could get the "breakfast and more" deal!

relatively new and modern design. the room size is good compared to other Japanese hotels. we like the idea of seperating the toilet and the shower, more functional for a couple in the morning hours.
We stayed only one night at this huge hotel and had a very pleasant stay. It is located right next to the main train station, which is extremely convenient for rail travelers. The area is safe, clean, and offers a variety of interesting shops around the station.
The room was good, although the mattress was a bit too firm for our liking. The bath towels were of excellent quality. The blackout curtains are outstanding—to the point that we could not even tell that it was already daylight outside.
The breakfast buffet is plentiful. However, more than half of the food options are Japanese or other Asian dishes, which may feel somewhat unfamiliar and disapointing to many Western guests (including myself).

Great hotel for a short stay, clean, comfortable and very high quality room and amenities.
The location is a bit far from the main spots to visit. Also, be aware that there’s a 15% service charge that is added on top of the fees for the stay and the tourist tax.
Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms are relatively spacious, especially by Japanese standards, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit.
The hotel's location is excellent—situated right next to Kanazawa Station, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Most attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas are easily accessible, and much of the city can be explored on foot.
The property itself is beautiful, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return on a future visit to Kanazawa.

Wifi did not reconnect automatically. Log in every time you get back to hotel. Parking is in the same building with special entrance for hotel, but not included in the room rate.

Location is PERFECT. Right outside Kanazawa station. No need to deal with local transit once you get here via shinkansen. Airport is straight forward too! Just take the Limousine Bus straight to Kanazawa station. Rooms were large even by North American standards. Easily the best stay of our trip. Provided us with a crib which normally takes up a lot of space in Japanese hotel rooms. Not this one! Great shower head too. 10/10. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.
