Pros:

Cabanas Puerto Morelos is a sweet property located in the heart of Puerto Morelos, just two blocks from the beach. Our room was great and we appreciated being able to book for just one night. Our only issue was with arrival and check-in, as our taxi driver had difficulty locating the exact spot on the map and both Apple and Google maps give conflicting information. We also couldn't figure out how to check in, as there is no reception desk and no printed signs or info about it. Another set of guests were kind enough to call the property manager for us and she was very helpful and kind. Finally, the outside gate was locked when we returned from our evening out (NYE) and we didn't have a key or a code to get in, resulting in my husband needing to climb over the wall to get in.

Pros:

The apartment was nice and close to beach
Big draw back was air-conditioning did not work. I talked to manager and she did nothing to help. Temp in room never got below 28 Celsius.

Comfortable Stay
Pros:

We had a great stay at Cabanas. The studio was large and comfortable. I especially appreciated the private deck with table and chairs, kitchen, good air conditioning, and Myron, the friendly owner who is responsive and nearly always available. The beautiful beach is nearby (less than 2 blocks) and collectivos, which can take you to many locations, run right outside.

The area is walkable and near the beach area it’s looks quiet to me not enough time to explore more

Pros:

Beautiful property. Well kept, clean. Excellent service. Half a block from the beach. Walkable distance to coffee shops, restaurants and stores. Perfect for a quiet vacation by the beach. Close to excellent restaurants.
