Потрясающий отель и локация, один из лучших опытов за все путешествия. Если вы хотите познать, что такое аутентичные номера в пещерах Каппадокии — вам сюда. Камин, ванная с гидромассажем, невероятно уютно и тепло внутри номера-пещеры (волновались, что будет прохладно в зимний сезон, но даже полы с подогревом!Чистый восторг. Приветливый персонал, который поможет с багажом и рекомендациями. Отдельно благодарим Махмуда за его профессионализм и чуткость. Он также неоднократно нам помогал с камином в номере. Завтраки также чудесные.

Highly recommend after our family stay
Pros:

Booked this hotel because we have two young kids and knew we wouldn’t be able to get up early and travel to a viewing point to see the balloons and it did not disappoint! Our room was huge and clean and from the moment Mustafa and the team greeted us we knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and were great with our kids. Special shoutout to the team in the restaurant who went above and beyond every morning.

Cons:

Not many external food options around Uchisar, especially at night so recommend having a car.

Pros:

Some of the people were very helpful especially the night guy, Ergin (I think) who prepared and gave us breakfast nearly at 5 AM since we had flights.

Cons:

Breakfast was included but they had a set breakfast and not a buffet and if extra was asked, they would ask for money.

Hotel was stunning just a shame we didn’t get to e stay I paid for.

The property was picture perfect everything we wanted.

Cons:

I contacted the property to say I had confused my dates and could I move them by a day. They confirmed this on whatapp also my partner called and confirmed with hotel on arrival they said we didn’t have a booking. They then put us in the original room booked but next day after breakfast said they were moving us to a different hotel. The hotel the moved us to was nothing like this one very disappointing. Hotel did give us complimentary dinner and wine but I would have rather of stayed in the room I paid for and booked.

This hotel is overrated at Bookings and urgently needs investment.
Pros:

The location is good for taking photos.

Cons:

1. The facility needs repair and refurbishment. As can be seen in the uploaded photos, the light was not on. And there were nails beside the bed, which is really dangerous.
2. The breakfast starting time is 8:30am, but 8am stated on Bookings. Even if we arrived at 8:30am, nothing was offered until after 9am. We waited for nearly 30 minutes for nothing. It is a strange experience in any hotel for not being able to have breakfast before 9am.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Well well well… I don’t know where to start because it was just too perfect. From the beginning to the end, everything was just so nice. Unbeaten location and yummy breakfast, the employees of the hotel are the kindest people of the region! Our rooms were super spacious and comfortable. I’m so glad we chose this hotel, I think it’s hard to find better. Thanks again and again for your wonderful hospitality!

Pros:

Cosy rooms with fire place were ideal for winter nights. We had a bit of snow! :)
Some staff were very friendly and hardworking (especially at breakfast) but they seemed to be understaffed. Everything was OK but not brilliant!

Cons:

Hotel seemed to be under-staffed.
On a few ocasions they did not have some items on the menu and for breakfast.
They sometimes seemed reluctant to supply wood for the fire place but the fire place was a deciding point when choosing our hotel for Christmas.

Perfect if you want the fairytale
Pros:

The location is superb. We lived inside a mountain, and our kids were incredibly happy for the magic of the place. The rooms were spacious, and the hot tub working properly and pleasantly. The stuff proved being very helpful on different topics, and always ready to help. Bonus points for the breakfast. Traditional Turkish breakfast, of a very high quality (the second best we had in Turkey so far)

Cons:

The light in the room was terrible. I understand the atmosphere and the magic of having only dim lights here and there, to give the idea of living in a proper cavern, barely lit; but at the same time I reached the age of 50, and from time to time, I do enjoy seeing what I'm doing. So, this could be easily fixed by keeping everything as it is, and simply add one extra, proper light / room, in case you need to see properly this or that.

The matresses also were a major problem. Both my wife and I have back problems, and we need something rigid; instead we had a mattress in which we were simply sinking. Again, thematic, but that made resting at night more problematic than it should have.

Cappuccino at breakfast was... not a cappuccino.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also responded very quickly to any queries we might had or requests.

They were very welcoming and did their absolute best in accommodating us as quests at Selfie Cave.

A special thanks to Mustafa at Reception who made our stay very pleasant in arranging all tours effortlessly.

A special thanks to Ebrahim in Restaurant for serving us with such kindness.
