Pros:

First time ever that will need to pay for Hair dryer usage. The worst part is that im staying in a corner unit ( king size room) and there is cockroaches. Understand that all the room is full due to public holiday so we are unable to change room. Called the staff and they just help to spray and didnt event help to clean the dead cockroaches

Bed were comfortable and the water pressure was great

Cons:

A rather disappointing stay at Grand Flora Hotel.

​The only saving grace was the check-in process, which was reasonably fast, likely because there was no queue at the time. However, everything else went downhill from there.

​Upon entering the room, we found that the air conditioning was completely non-functional and blowing no air. When checked, the AC motor was heavily clogged with thick dust. Although a technician was sent to clean it while we were inside, we ultimately requested a room change for our comfort.

​While we were given another room, what disappointed us the most was the front desk's attitude—not a single apology was uttered for the inconvenience caused. This lack of basic hospitality was highly unprofessional.

​To make matters worse, the overall room maintenance was poor; the carpet was dirty, and parts of the wallpaper were already peeling off. The management seriously needs to improve their room upkeep, cleanliness, and staff customer service training."

Great & comfortable stay
Pros:

The location is strategic and easy to park. The room was clean. It would be much better if the hotel put a mirror in the room too instead of just in the bathroom. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Pros:

Had a pleasant stay at during my trip to Melaka. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth. The hotel location is also very convenient, with many restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Parking was easy, and the overall environment felt peaceful and relaxing. Definitely a good choice for both short vacations and business trips. Will come again in the future!
